Instead of ice I just store these in the refrigerator. One with water, one dry with marbles. I use it once when the glass is still cold and foggy and put it back in the fridge before it dries up. Foggy glass stays clean longer.

I only do warm water when i use glass.
It feels smoother and i can take bigger hits with the humidity in the vapor. Cold/ice water makes me cough.

Here is something you can put on top of wpa. Don’t have one but have considered them in the past. I seen other Hydro tubes as well saying they were for dry herb vapes. Think is what you were asking about.

Thanks for the suggestion! Delivery of the hookah accessories should arrive today. I’ll give it a go with some warm water this weekend. My pipe is a light blue rubberized model.

It’s really not usually an issue. Conduction heating is from physical contact, so orientation is meaningless with a full oven. Convection heat is going to be pulled through the flower when you inhale regardless of the orientation.
On many DHVs, it’s preferable to run them upside down. The Solo 3 has a habit of dropping small or loosely packed loads into the oven during use, but that can’t happen upside down. If you add concentrate, ideally any excess concentrate will flow AWAY from the heater to protect the device, and on most devices this means upside down.
If it bothers you, rig up a hose adapter between the DHV and the Bong.

I became obsessed with Chill Steel a few years ago when I got my entry Chill Steel, the Stainless Steel. Next thing I knew, I had a bunch of them, and the collection of neck pieces. The bases of the Rainbow Mirror and Rainbow Glitter are hot red/orange and look incendiary with the sparkler neck piece. The Black bases look amazing with the rising smoke piece, and is calming after the excitement of the sparkler.
Etc. My obsession shows.
It’s nice to have something that doesn’t break easily, and you can play with temperature if you like. Enjoy your Chill Steel!

I’m always looking for some kinda U-shaped adapter. Like a drop-down but with both connections going the same way. This is the closest I’ve ever seen. I want to have my TM2 upside down but U over to a little bubbler. Any one know of any other U-shaped connectors?

Where do you get those WPAs? I’ve looked around and can’t seem to find them in the US.

A lot of 14mm joints have 8mm openings. If you happen to have a 14mm male/male or 14mm whip adapter they might work as a 8mm WPA.
