# Coil Holder (3D Files for printing at home)

With filament printers so insanely cheap now, everyone should have one and we should all be sharing files. Hopefully if there’s enough interest, maybe the mods could enable step file uploads to make it all easier.

To that end, here’s a .step and FreeCAD file for a coil holder. Prints with only 70g of filament. I’ve only tested this with Bambu’s PLA Tough+, but any PLA/PETG should be fine. It sits so far from the coil that it doesn’t really warm up at all, and with an ashtray sitting there, heat deformation isn’t an issue at all. I’ve had mine for about 6+ months, and it’s still clamping strong.

I’ve included a simple FreeCAD files so you can make your own edits if you want. It’s just a simple lever based clamp using primitives added and subtracted from each other.

And some pics with it holding my custom 14mm Moo Sharoom injector ball vape that I had CNC’d for me a while back. I’ll create another post for that at some point.
