With more vapes requiring an external device to change settings, those that use Apple devices are often screwed by Apple’s nanny attitude, and are stuck using online emulators that are clunky and often don’t offer the full feature set of the app.
I’m considering an android tablet primarily to run software blocked by Apple. Does anyone that has an android tablet, do the phone control programs for android phone also work with android tablets? Years ago when I ran android, there were a lot of apps that would only work on one or the other.
Considering the ONN tablet from Walmart.
Currently I just need the Venty and the Focus V control software, but I would like future compatibility with Proxy and hopefully others.
Will a tablet work, or do I need an android phone?
UPDATE!: At some point apparently Android killed the apps on the play store. Unless you have a copy of the app from before the ban, you are stuck with web apps and lost functions.
I’ve got the web & app running for Davinci and just the app for Firefly, Ghost MV1 and Pax running in android on Samsung and LG tablets and phones. The app installers are available online (google is your friend) if you can’t d/l directly from the maker, however you do have to install “unapproved” software. I’ll assume SB’s app is similar, just don’t need it with the Classic and Mighty. All you really need is for the device to connect through bluetooth with the tablet. And maybe web access for updating.
