I wonder if we could do what the discord does with replies - ie, include the username and a little quote of the opening of the post you’re replying to. I like the chronological flow, rather than replies directly under their referents. But I never pay attention to most people’s thumbnails. If I do recognize one it’s because they’re a frequent poster and I often don’t remember what they said recently. If I could see who said it and the start of what they said I wouldn’t have to click nearly as often to see which post people are responding to
So that you can see who/what the current post is replying to so we don’t have to tap the thumbnail of the person and load the whole post to remind ourselves if we’ve been following the conversation but it’s a while between replies
What I was hoping you could do was replace the extra tiny thumbnail (or add - I don’t care) with the username of the person that post is replying to and the first line of that post.
I agree, it makes following individual topics within a general stream easier. While we can add the quote when replying, it’s not obvious how to do it here.
I agree that this way is better than what we tried for a while. If we can’t add that info to the default reply info I’ll just have to get better at identifying those teeny tiny pictures
