I was going through the different threads dedicated to specific vaporizer models, and I realized that there doesn’t seem to be one for the Dani Fusion 2.
I was actually hoping to find some advice here about this vape because I recently got pretty lucky and managed to buy one on Marketplace for the equivalent of about $60 USD, including its pouch, and judging from the photos and video I’ve seen, it appears to be in excellent condition.
The seller had received a few vaporizers as gifts but never really got into vaping, so he was selling them without really knowing what they were worth.
Funny enough, before this, I had already bought a new 2021 DynaVap M from the same person for the equivalent of about $30 USD. After I received it, I thanked him and decided to take a chance and ask if he happened to have anything else he wanted to sell.
That’s when he showed me the Dani Fusion 2. I immediately told him I was interested, and he offered it to me for around $60 USD ($80 CAD). Obviously, I couldn’t say no.
I should receive it by the end of this week, so any advice from experienced Dani Fusion 2 users would be greatly appreciated!
I plan on using it mainly with my YLL-IH 3.0 induction heater, so I’d especially love to hear from people using the same setup.
What settings are you using with the Dani Fusion 2 on the YLL-IH 3.0? Specifically, what wattage and how many seconds?
Any other Dani Fusion 2 tips, tricks, heating techniques or things I should know before my first session are more than welcome!
I love my DF2, the vapor is sooo thick and tasty. If you want to use it in the YLL 3.0 you’ll need to pick up a SUS430 cap. The OG cap with the silver bands doesn’t work the best with the YLL unfortunately. I can’t comment on how to use the silver cap because once I switched to the sus430 I never went back lol, however I like it in the YLL @ 60w 47s with the ceramic puck flush with the bottom of the glass. That should give you a thick OHE hit and I lower the time to adjust for terps using that time as an upper limit. Also you might have heat lock issues with the cap so it’s usually recommend to loosen it slightly before heating. Good luck, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the DF2.
@TKVape The punch v2 cap is another more affordable option that would enable a really good experience in the YLL, Wesley pipes and more has them, as well as a few other stores. Sometimes called the BFG induction cap.
It screws right onto the Dani fusion 2.0 like the stock cap. Very similar performance and design to the SUS430 but with click discs.
I run my Dani fusion 2.0 with the punch v2 cap in the YLL for 100 watts 23 seconds, it’s amazing. still retain the clicks that way too, and works well with a torch still. Makes it work very similarly to a punch v2.
The stock cap is great with a medium to large torch, or with the flare 2.0. I usually bury the flame with my ronxs at the lower silver band, and heat until 3 seconds past click.
Very capable device, and I like that you can still use it with other stems and adapters. The punch v2 you’re stuck with the stock body.
