Default "like" setting

I don’t know if I’m in the minority here but I would really love (no pun intended) if the default “like” button was a thumbs up vs a heart.

I like to use hearts for things I wholeheartedly agree with (pun intended this time) or applaud so switching to a thumbs up as a general like or acknowledgement feels like a downgrade when others just tap the button and move on.

Is it possible to set the default to thumbs up, and would that be something others would welcome?

What do the different colors of the numbers for the topics mean?

Dunno if i get what you mean but if its the number to the right of the topic orange would be new/unread posts are in the topic and gray would be ones you’ve seen all the way to the most recent.

Edit actually I’m wrong. Read through everything on an orange one and nothing changed.

Yes. That’s what I mean. Sometimes they are orange. Sometimes other colors, mostly white.

I would like to see a :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: sunglasses emoji as a reaction option. Allows me to easily convey that I think something is cool.

I would like to propose that the current hug emoji :hugs: be replaced with a flexing muscle arm :flexed_biceps: or :mechanical_arm: emoji @420vapezone . I feel that the same “love” reaction is already represented by the existing heart :heart: emoji and is redundant. The flexing muscle arm :flexed_biceps: conveys that a post/comment is strong or impressive which the current emoji set lacks.

I thought that was a yay emoji instead of a hug, tbh, but even still there’s a celebration emoji already.

I think i also see that emoji for “wholesome” but it’s not one I’d ever use. I like the flexing arm suggestion!

Edit: so the emoji is frequently used for hug, wholesome, and yay. Just looked it up instead of making things up with assumptions. I was 2/3 right woo

Edit 2: the arm emoji is one I’ve also used for “stay strong” if someone posts about an adversity in their life
