Some classics don’t fade away – they become legends. After years of iconic sessions, PLENTY & CRAFTY+ are entering their final chapter.
This is your last chance to experience:
• PLENTY of moments • PLENTY of emotions • True CRAFTmanship
From an email from Storz & Bickel.
I never tried a Plenty but the Crafty was my first real vaporizer. 10 years I vaped the crafty almost daily, I am on my third one now. I always loved the Crafty, but now it’s coming to an end. You want one now is the time, they stop the production. My heart feels a little sad now.
I literally just came here to post the same thing lol. I have seen quite a few reviews saying that the Crafty+ has a better vape signature than the Veazy so I’m sure this announcement will be met with some mixed reviews. I still use my Crafty+ on occasion and it still hits great! Sad to see it is going away.
I expected that the Crafty was on borrowed time from the moment the Veazy released, being a clear attempt at an updated S&B vape based around a single 18650, similar style of operation, convenience features stripped out when compared to the bigger vapes, it seemed odd to keep selling them both.
Now as for whether the Veazy is an adequate replacement, I don’t have both on hand to compare but I would certainly say so. My Veazy took a few sessions to get up to speed, and a few discharges of the battery to bring out its full capacity, but it definitely has that signature S&B vapour at least to my taste. I use mine nearly every day.
Bummer..I need to get me a Crafty plus…I broke out the Mighty og yesterday, gave the Cooling unit a good cleaning & fired it up..I forgot how good that thing hits..excellent vape..anyway, so long to Crafty + & Plenty..
Absolutely and the best device(s) for each person is so dependent on lifestyle and individual needs. For the one job I need it to do, which is being a lightweight vape for me to take out on walks, often in places where I don’t want to attract attention, using it one handed and swapping capsules the Veazy is way better than a Venty for example. As a primary/only vape, I’d only recommend it to lighter users, if you’re going to be mostly using it indoors a Venty or Frolic would be way more suitable. Even things like which size pockets and bags people normally have access to can make a difference between a vape being convenient or not. Whether you need to be discreet or not too is a huge factor
I gave my OG Crafty to my dog walker (A fitting recipient of a still excellent vape). Well, upon hearing the Crafty was being discontinued I went and bought a brand new Crafty+. I debated leaving it uncracked and stored away like a time capsule for some time down the road. Well …. Fuck that! I opened her up, charged her up, loaded her up and let her rip. I forgot just how good this vape is, almost more enjoyable than my Venty. Won’t be giving this one away.
Does anyone else feel like the vape signature on the Crafty+ is a bit different from the Mighty+ and Venty?
I’ve owned and used all three, and even though they’re obviously cut from the same Storz & Bickel cloth, I find the Crafty+ delivers a slightly different experience. At the higher temperatures, the hits feel really satisfying, dense, and full. I’ve always wondered if some of that has to do with the smaller cooling unit and shorter vapor path compared to the Mighty+ and Venty.
The Venty is definitely a daily driver these days, and the Mighty+ is still an absolute workhorse, but there’s just something about the way the Crafty+ hits that I’ve always enjoyed. Even after all these years, it still makes the travel rotation whenever I’m heading out for a weekend trip.
My only real complaint? I wish it heated up a little faster.
Curious if anyone else notices a difference in the vapor signature between the Crafty+, Mighty+, and Venty, or if it’s just me.
It’s not just you. The Crafty hits different than the Mighty. The vapor hits harder. I also think it’s the smaller cooling unit. I don’t mind the heat up time, I just take a small draw before it hit’s temp, taste really good.
Never got a Crafty. Got a Mighty, Mighty +, Venty, and a Plenty. Glad I got the Plenty. It’s funky, but fun. It looks like nothing else, and I don’t get the Plenty out much, but when I do it’s its own party.
Plus, it always reminds me of my dear bud, @LesPlenty
