Continuing the discussion from Tafee Flaske:
Did my first cleaning on my Flaske stem. Used my usual 97% alcohol @ three 7 min. Cycles in my ultrasonic cleaner annnnd it’s sparkling clean!
So unlike one of my stubby stems on my TB2, no weird surface mottling/staining! This is great news and shows that the Flaske finish can hold up to ultrasonic cleaning for multiple cycles w/97% ISO.

Hell yeah! I’ve been soaking mine in ISO loads and haven’t had any problems or change visually. The easy cleaning is by far one of the best things about the Flaske imo, just give the stem a bath and use a Q-tip for the mouthpiece and around where the stem and mouthpiece meet and you’re golden.
I’m getting away with cleaning without disassembling. Just an ISO wipe in the bottom with some kind of implement. Same from top end.

Hey tried your method earlier today with good ol Terpwipes. It was satisfactory! I changed out my screen in the pot and used a Terpwipe on the pot too.
Quicker than running cycles on my ultra-sonic cleaner! The mouthpiece doesn’t really get that dirty, the spot just under the pot is really all that gets grungy so it worked just fine.
