I have a Solo 3. Just got some other convectors (elev8r, lotus, dyna) which I will get to try once this damn involuntary tbreak in a couple weeks. I really let my nascent vas get the better of me lol.
Planning my next vape, I’d like to try something conductive so I can understand how it hits differently compared to convection/hybrid. What would be some good ones to look into?
@Northernhigh420 is doing some conduction comparisons and he seems to really like the Starry 4

I have the DaVinci IQ3 that I started vaping again after a few years with Carts. At first I loved it. Even tho I couldn’t get huge clouds like in other reviews. Bit slow heat up times and it’s a stealthy sleeper I would call it almost seems like it’s not working or you’re doing something wrong. Keep on puffing and b4 you realize what’s happening you’re more Medicated than I expected haha. Haven’t used much after getting my Venty. My 2 cents for what is worth.
Starry V4 is the best budget conduction i think
if you want the nicest conduction vapor, the Davinci IQ2 used to be the king. They discontinued it for the IQ3 and IQ-C, but IQ3 has a HUGE bowl that’s typically only preferred by smokers, and the IQ-C cheaped out on silicone parts.
They’ve since dropped the IQ-C and replaced it with the IQ-Core. They had promised to send me one a few months ago, but my negative opinions of the Davinci EQ made the Davinci marketing guy conveniently forget who I am.
I’ll probably buy the Core myself if there’s enough interest - but there’s been very little interest.
After reading this thread I will be getting a starry 4 and I think you should too @Tempus
I own the Solo 3 and for some reason I do not like it. Might need to give it a few more goes.

I love my solo 3. It’s the only one I’ve used so far though and I only use it with a high flow cooling stem. I’ll definitely give the starry 4a look!
Is there a torch/ih one you’d recommend too? I think I remember reading that one of the vestratto vapes is conduction?
Or maybe a Dani fusion?
The Core is a weed waster lol. Might have to try one of the better models but it’s right there with the Pax Flow for me. Trying to get my hands on a Zeus and another fuck my life Pax for a proper comparison across the board
i’d assume core is same as iq-c, there’s a bit of technique to it. grind fine, pack tight, poke a hole. Sip, don’t rip.
The Zeus ain’t bad tbh, I rated it last year and intended on reviewing it but life got in the way.
For that matter, the non-plus pax vapes aren’t bad either.
I have the Dani Fusion 2 and it is on another level compared to most vapes I used and not sure but think its hybrid. The clouds you get with this thing are massive and for micro dosing its great. Even micro dosing makes big clouds but you do need to inhale very very slowly and it feels tight to inhale so feels different to other vapes I used. It is the closest vape I used to smoking a joint as it hits rally hard as the airpath so tight and just hits so hard like smoking.
See I would use this for my main vape but you need to use a torch to heat it up and i do not like that, I could get a wand thingy to do it. The other reason i do not use it si every time i cleaned it the o rings fell apart and I just did not like taking it apart and putting it back together. Is not much to it but i got mine heavily gunked as am heavy user and that is likely why the o rings kept falling apart 
It might be for you and I do use mine from time to time still.
The Zeus vape was the one purchase years ago that made me start searching out vape reviewers… I feel like I got scammed by TVape lol… of course I had no clue, but when I was watching their videos, they kept saying how the Zeus was a better performer than the Mighty by S&B, I debated for a bit on which one to get, but was won over by the Zeus and within 3 days of owning it, It was in my desk drawer and it hasn’t been moved out since and I had a Mighty the next week.
It’s still kind of bugs me when I see their reviews and they always throw in their shit vapes and compare with something great and try to say that it’s a comparable vape at a better price.
Thank fuck we have forums like this and vape reviewers like you and everyone else out there helping others not make the same mistake. 
that was a HUGE reason why I never reviewed tvape stuff in the past, they’d put out reviews that were clearly steering and smearing. I don’t think they do it anymore, or at least that I’ve seen. I think they’ve reshaped their brand efforts, but like G-pen - it will take time for their reputation to get cleared.
I will review that new Zeus Arc GT by end of year

So a Pax mini probably be a good bet for this? I’ll give that technique a try its probably what i’m doing this week for a Walk & Toss anyway.
I’ll give them a little credit. I got on them about a recent video for this and ended up with wanting me to review some devices. Bravery 
The Quartz Cap/Terpcicle are more conduction than convection.
And poor forgotten radiant heat. I think radiant heat is why I prefer torches to the coil with the Quartz Cap.
I really like the Fusion 2 but it doesn’t work with the Wand and the o-rings simply suck.
Check out the SUS430 IH Cap by a FC member (?).
Ooh I forgot about the terpsicle! That was on my (mental) list of vapes I want to try. Didn’t realize that was largely conduction. I will definitely try that. And the starry 4. And, and, and… Starting to understand the shelves behind t&j
