TheCanaPartsShop is a small, one-person operation based in Canada. I began with 3D printing TED accessories on Etsy around 2020. Near the end of 2025, I launched my own device called The GOODIE. This device from the heater, battery box and push button are custom made in shop. It is a fully unregulated single-circuit device (meaning it contains no electronics). It runs on a 21700 flat-top battery and is operated with a single push button. The heater features a glass cap wrapped with a stainless steel coil on the outside, witch results in a all glass air path.

Is the crosscompatibility with BakX intentional? Just wondering because it seemed like a unique and proprietary thing to his vape, but i’ve only heard good things about the Goodie so no hate. Very interesting for sure.
The Goodie uses the same cap heater design that the Bakx uses. That design is used in a lot of different TEDs, The Bud Toaster I think is the name of the first electric version of that heater design I have seen. It was released in the early 2010’s. Then there is The Vaponic, The Terpcicle, and more torch powered devices with the same heater designs. The Goodie heater is a little wider then the Bakx so there is cross compatibility in the way that the Bakx stems can fit inside the goodie, but the goodie stems will not fit inside the Bakx. It’s not designed to be crossed compatible but can sort of work.
I love my Goodies, it’s really easy to use and the vapor is amazing. It doesn’t make me cough at all, even when I take big hits.
I wanted to buy new stems if I can find some — what diameter should I get ?
Not tryna rain on this makers parade, but had to return my Goodie!
The concept, design, wood craftsmanship are all outstanding! I bought because it seemed like a Bakx but in a self contained handheld form factor.
So why the return then? Mine seemed to only “fire” about 50% of the time! So sometimes I got heat and sometimes not. A vape, for me, needs to work each and EVERY time not “most” of the time. I don’t think any user error on my part, batteries fully charged etc.
Maker was most responsive & gracious, offered repair or refund and I opted for a refund. Handled all through Instagram, btw shipping via USPS to Canada is cray, cray $43 to return!
Yeah, your device had an issue with it. One part inside was a little out of alignment which was causing it to only get power some of the time. I tested those units twice and both times it fired for me unfortunately, so I was unable to catch the fault at the time. That’s how it slipped through my QC check. I will do more test going forward before sending them out.

But like I said in my OG post you were very gracious, responsive and provided great customer service. After my Tafee Flaske I may come back to the Goodie. Things happen in small batch, bespoke products. Kinda think now shoulda maybe opted for repair! When it worked it worked well! Takes a little effort to dial in your use, it’s an unregulated device so there’s that.
I feel safe to tell others don’t use my experience to avoid this vape! My guess is you’ve had little returns and my situation is an outlier not a common issue.
I support you and again your quick responses allowed for a smooth return. I hope you sell a metric fuck-ton of these!
