Try it with the spent weed, or only try it with fresh bud?
I feel bad for you and hope you are able to enjoy again without these health concerns. Not being able to vape, is a true curse. I won’t go into detail about my own situation that started out much like yours. Take lots and lots of time off. Do you consume fatty fish on a regular basis? Omega-3s help with breathing.
When you do come back, months from now come back with a different source. I would agree that it’s likely pesticides.
Oh yeah, I take plenty of OM3s and eat whole sides of salmon shashimi on the reg, always drinking plenty of water, etc. Thanks for the kind words, I’m just starting my 3rd bowl for the day and don’t anticipate more before sleep.
I believe that you could determine the maximum amount you can do and not have a reaction. I am working with many people who have developed allergic reactions to cannabis with moderate success. In most cases there is a level of cannabis that stays below the allergic response level and in a moderate number of individuals this level of use is acceptable. One needs a ball vape level of precision to effectively create an exact working protocol. Once figured out portables can be used, sort of.
I have no data or experience using concentrates but have used flower vaporisers since 1995.
fresh bud in the oven for 30 minutes to decarb it
it’ll be more potent than your AVB but most of the terpenes will be gone
Take fresh bud and do a water soak for about a week then try vaping that.
This removes all the water soluble elements of the plant, which very well may be your problem. It will leave behind the terpenes and the THC. Give it a shot.
Soaking flower in water for one week will probably end in moldy flower.
Its not a save method to cure weed or remove compounds from it.
Sorry to hear that,
if edibles don´t work for you (apparently some people don’t have the enzyme to convert THC in the liver do delta 11 hydroxy THC), you can try sublingual consumption. Especially nano emulsions and nano edibles that dissolve in your mouth work great in my experience.
Wrong. Water bath is common. I’ve done it. You keep the herb totally submerged replacing the water every day. Mold is impossible in those conditions. Then you take it out after the water is clear and you immediately put it in the oven and dry it. No mold.
Has anyone ever done microbial test after the water cure? I heard about this method a decade ago didnt think anyone is still doing it.
And I should add, I do this to make edibles NOT to vape. Should have made that clear.
mr grow it did a great video on water curing a few months ago
i think the process is a bit more work than a single dunk/soak, the water needs to be changed out if i recall
Yes, I change it out twice a day for a few days and then once a day using only distilled water until the water is clear. I do need to say it again that I do not do this method to vape the bud so I was wrong to say that. I use it only to make edibles.
Removes virtually all of the plant taste so when you make edibles or use it as a tincture, you’re pretty much just tasting the coconut oil or the sugary sweetness of the goodie.
For me I find most of the newer strains are too Terp heavy. I seek out Legacy strains or resort to my seed bank which is over 30 years old. There is nothing like revisiting a strain from the past.
Be well

I baked it, it baked me, we were beacon.
Neuer tried, but for decarbing it might be a valid option to use the device itself (I think about a Mighty) and do two 110°C runs with Auto shutdown and no inhaling before heating up and use fully.
