I’ve been vibe coding something for the past week that got out of hand in the best way, and thought this crowd might appreciate it.
In short, it’s a way to catalogue my weed, vapes, accessories, and usage over time. For each item (strain, vape, accessory) you can click on the card to bring up more information, including usage, reviews (for vapes) etc. It can help me document the more effective heating techniques for analog vapes, or document vape usage overall to see what really wins the reach test, plus a whole lot more. A few notes: this is a work in progress and I haven’t done thorough QA on it, so there will be mistakes; not all my vapes are in the library; often forget to log sessions because—weed.

The back end is an Airtable database: strains, every batch I buy, sessions, vaporizers, glass, torches and IH, grinders, dispensaries. I never type into it. I photograph the label and it parses everything, then decodes the QR and pulls the full COA, so I get the complete terpene panel even when the label just prints a total.
Session logging is the part I actually like. I just talk: “.1 in the simrell, 25 sec with the Ronx, pulled at second click.” It asks for whatever I didn’t mention, one question at a time, and it won’t close the log until every field has an answer. Turns out that stubbornness is the whole reason the data ends up usable.
Then it generates the book itself, a single html file styled like an old collector’s register. Every jar and every piece of gear clicks through to a dossier: lab chemistry, my session history, specs with manufacturer claims kept separate from what I actually measure, and curated reviews each tagged for whether the reviewer sells the device they’re reviewing.
As I add more strains, the tool will work to show me other strains at local dispensaries I like that might be worth checking out based on my preferences and inputs. It will also monitor the web for new vape releases and let me know if they fall inline with what I like.
