Hello community looking into getting my second vape looking for hybrid heating or full convection. Any recommendations would like it to be portable. Still as a reference. My current vape is a DaVinci iq3
Tafee Bowle or wait for the new Tafee Flaske.
I could probably give a better suggestion with more information though.
What’s your budget? What features/performance do you want?
How do you use your vapes? Just portable or portable and discrete?
I would look for a TinyMight2 or Venty if you have the budget $350+, an Arizer Solo 3 $250 and If your budget is closer to the $150 range go for the POTV Lobo. All are excellent options
How do you feel about the bowl size?
The IQ3 has a bigger bowl than most portables, so whatever you slip into is going to be an admustment.
My most used portables are the Venty and Frolic.
If I could only keep one it’d probably be the Venty, but it’d be a painful decision.
No real budget I’m looking for something super solid that will last me a while. As far as portable and discreetness doesn’t have to be super discreet since I have the IQ3 for that. And yes the bowl size is big in the DaVinci but I’ve been using the spacers to reduce it a bit. Thanks again for the recommendations. I’m new to the community and still trying to find my way. You guys are awesome
I love my Venty. I have lung issues so the cool potent vapor really is nice. I’m yet to try the taffé bowl 2 but I think I’m going give that a try, per @Charles suggestions.

If truly no real budget you could hop on the Tafee Flaske train with some of us. The Bowle would also be a step up in experience if discreetness/pocketability doesn’t matter.
The Flaske looks really interesting. Been looking hard at the Venty also
I think most anything recommended so far in this thread will feel like quite the departure from the IQ3. If that was your first vape, you can expect bigger, stronger sessions, and a bigger package. If you want to make the most informed decision, I suggest you think about what you like and dislike about the IQ3. For example, I love the size and payload of the IQ3, but usually want something more efficient and tasty, with a serious punch. If you can identify some things like that, we can help you lean into what you like and out of what you don’t like for a great second vape.
I do like the bowl size on the iq3 when I’m running around all day not so much any other situation it’s costly haha and a bit to get into the sweet spot of the vapor. So ya I guess I’m looking for a vape with great flavor for longer and more efficient with the vapor. If that makes sense
sounds like you’re ready for a hybrid or convection vape. They usually have smaller ovens and like a looser pack, so they use a lot less but still pack a punch.
A lot of us here like to recommend convection vapes because they’re our faves, and why not start with the best instead of waste time with other stuff? The vapor is tastier and even punchier, but the tradeoff is bigger size, less battery life, and maybe a little learning curve. Since money is not an issue here, you could pre-order the Flask, or get the Bowle now. It’s a little less money with a different form factor.
If you want something brainless and easy to use you may like a hybrid. No technique and less money. Still great vapor, just not as sparkly as a full convection vape. Heavily recommended hybrids include Healthy Rips, S&B, and POTV One or Lobo.
Those are my recommendations, and you’ve already gotten a lot of good ones in this thread. I would also look for something with a good dosing capsule system. That will help you get through an entire day while out-and-about, and the sessions will be better than recycling the same bowl on the IQ3 all day.
Honestly, my Venty gets more use than the Tafee Bowle. The TB2 is faster and smoother, but I just enjoy the Venty more. No logical reason I can see, I just like the Venty more.
It’s such an easy vape. The simple interface doesn’t require any concentration or thought.
I carried the Venty yesterday because it’s the easiest to load and unload while on the go and doing things.
I may have missed the question if someone already asked. Does your device requirements include non-electric options. Do you use anything torch powered?
You are not alone. I have a nice big collection myself. Some are very good and some are not so good. It’s an expensive and rewarding experience. Looking around here is a cost saver that I’m guessing ; that we all wish; was here before now. To all the cre8tors out there… Thank you for the options and the jazzy gear. People here are always looking out for the community too… Things break and glass most of all… but nothing is worse than feeling unsatisfied. As we all become more educated ; we take the risk out of the equation. For myself… yeah… I have a pile of vapes…
Last year I had a pile of cigarette butts!.. I’m much happier and healthier for the time I have spent in this community. Microdosing has helped me beyond measure with anxiety, and depression. My two favorite people in the world passed from cancer a few years back. I wish I knew then ; what I’ve learned here! Hopefully; the knowledge has bought me the time to save some other folks from missing the comfort. Sometimes a hug is all we really need.
Just ordered a Venty hopefully it arrives soon. Can’t wait to try it out. Just wanted to say thank you to the community for the advice and recommendations. You guys are awesome.
