Finally received My ODIN V2 Grinder. This Is My First Attempt To Find A Daily Driver / Premium Option. Had 2 Other grinders That I Didn’t Like Much. So Really Happy With The Feel and Grind Consistency Of The ODIN Definitely Best Grinder I’ve Had. The Only Negative I Can Say Is The Top Lid Has About a 1/16 Play Between The Middle Piece and Its Noticeable While Use. Still I’m Really Happy With My Purchase and Would Recommend Especially For The Price.

Nice! I didn’t complain about the play in the top fit, I guess I’ve gotten used to some slop in the feel with all the ball-bearing grinders out there these days

Very cool, this is the grinder I dream of, if I can ever consume again. So is the weight pretty much the only real difference between the V1 and the V2? Any reason at all to consider the V1?

I never used V1 so I couldn’t tell you. When I was looking at website the sections they removed material also Double as grip points that you can actually feel under use. Also believe slight variation in teeth layout over the V1.

Just ordered one, and found your review helpful. Been using a cheap Kozo for a couple of years and it only works well when clean… Need to spray it with isopropyl every couple of weeks. Grinder is pretty important, should have upped this game before. There was a discounted price, then a coupon code. Did pay $7 shipping, not complaining. Hoping I like its coarse grind. 
I sometimes flip a grinder while twisting it, if weed goes back through any holes, it will get finer then. 
I also have the Grav grinder, it’s not well reviewed but I like its nug chamber, throws interesting grind.

It’s a really solid grinder for the price. I’m very happy with it. And if I want finer grind I do flip it upside down also. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do

Awesome. 
I wonder if the “upside-down regrind” is recognized as a technique? Funny thing is, I’m old/sick and getting rid of stuff. But I want the stuff I actually use every day to be GOOD stuff. So I’ll ditch the other. Somehow that dang grinder gets used about twice a day… May as well twist stainless steel. Liking no threads, they gum up slowly. Fun to collect kief in a four piece but probably better to heat it with the herb and not go stale.

100% - upside-down grinding is a great hack to get finer grind out of most weed grinders
it’s risky with spinny grinders though, as they tend to “leak” when flipped upside down

Saw that, no stainless steel models. Wanted to use PayPal and the Odin website also took it, so got the stainless.

Three days in, very happy with this heavy duty destroyer of buds. Grinds like it means it. The artwork reminds me I have “Orkadian” DNA… The Orkney Islands are in between Scotland and Norway, so. A-Viking we will go, and this grinder goes along.

Troy has a full review of the v2, which is the one I got. I like it a lot, coming from a cheap aluminum grinder. Troy compares it to the other big guys in the stainless steel grinder biz. Unsure if I can do a link on this device… Ah, the link is up top.
Heavy and powerful grind! It’s sad to see buds go, but the fluff from 25-30% weed is fun to see. Occasionally I try to unscrew the bottom, duh. It’s getting nicely broken in…

Threadless weed grinders often suffer from a leaky seal, making fresh weed go stale fast. The Draken 2 has a tight seal with strong magnets. Weed left in this grinder should stay fresh for several days.

Thats a pretty good review.
I am curious though, does the new design still rub? There was some discussion on FC a while back about odin grinders rubbing metal on metal. I cant imagine that it is still if it was.
i may have to pick one up just to try

There’s a black gasket or ring. I lubed mine with Chapstick but it was unnecessary, it just moves solidly. It’s not a “spinner” top.
