Just did a deep clean and popped some new bearings in my aroma 3 xl.

With all the different types, bearings and now lids I’d like to see everyone show off their old mate grinders! Even if it’s stock standard, tell me about how you dropped it and fractured a metatarsal!

These Bones Swiss ceramics spin for days!

I’m also interested in what kind of spread of old mate grinders our members have.

I only have the xl in ss. Originally had the standard sized 3, used them both side-by-side for a while and ultimately sold the standard.

Holy. Bones Swiss Ceramic. Big Dog.

I am mad on skateboarding and geek out on gear a bit, especially now I’m older and have some disposable. I’ve always wanted to experience the roll of Bones Swiss Ceramics. I’ve often weighed the idea and been close to forking out for a set. Nearest I have are a set of Bones Swiss 6 ball. Great bearings. My fave bearings of all time - the SKF green shield skate branded. Actually maybe my faves are Quantum Atom ceramic hybrids. Haha, sorry.

Haha I love to hear it!

I’ve been lusting after these for a long time and happened across somebody that did take the plunge on the 8pk. Much easier to swallow at per bearing price :joy:

When I preordered the xl founders edition I was anticipating a bit of a wait. That wait was certainly worth it.. refined and polished.

What I really didn’t expect was to wait even longer than that to receive the SS lid.

But my god was that wait ever worth it, listen to this snap!

Haha yes, much more affordable at one bearing a piece!

One day I get a set of them just to try.

These bearings, Bones SPF wheels and a smooth concrete bowl = glassy speed!

Awesome! When did you receive your SS lid? I have the XL Founders Edition as well and still do not have mine yet. I emailed them June 30th and was told “We have been working through the backlog of the SS caps and yours will absolutely be sent out as soon as possible.” That reply came July 1st.

I received my cap back in June. I think I followed up with them about it around March.
