How are people liking their Makos?

@LAWTHEONE I’m having fun with mine and using it often. Reminds me of the Camouflet Injector on a smaller scale. The heat that comes off these hunks of metal is smooth and can creep up to a steady hot with multiple heat ups. It’s hitting me pretty hard even if I don’t get a lot of cloud or full extraction. Great with both the metal bowl and glass bowl that I have

I wanted to share this photo of a sample (unpolished) prototype the machine shop sent me, which they produced to test the manufacturability of the thinned down center mast.
These will be gearing up for production very soon.

What is the diameter of the mako? I am wondering if it will fit in the YLL?

14.5mm and yes I have reports from mako owners successfully using the YLL

It’s been available for preorder for a few weeks but I’m either really bad at advertising my own stuff or the interest is fairly low for the coil heating option at the moment.
I suspect the priority is more induction focused these days. I may end up refunding coil inserts until the platform grows large enough and proves viable to warrant mako accessories.
I was thinking about posting the Mako Stik based on prototypes I tested in 2024 if anybody from FC remembers my “big batch of prototypes” but of course it looks nearly identical to the CC Solaris lol so not sure I’ll bother posting that one.
My take was meant to use the dynavap cap for temperature click indication and induction heating. One size fit the regular cap, another designed around the Hyperdyn cap.

Aww man, I hope I still get the coil insert since I ordered it with the ZXL to use for the Mako as well (Just for the consistency, alone). If not, Big Buddy or Yll will have to do the job.
