Dayum, that hugely sucks. Another reason to dislike the USPS, crushing a package like that is unforgivable.

One thing about I’ve learned about running a small business by yourself is there’s always some lesson to be learned or some unexpected setback to go through.
I’ve never had anything like this happen before.
Look at how much tape was used to attempt to fix the situation… 🤦♂️ it looks like the box was totally crushed from a conveyor belt or industrial sorting system.
Nothing about that damage looks like it occurred because a “really heavy box” was just resting on top of it.
I will 100% be filing a claim for this one.
The “WE CARE” note is a real cherry on top though.
In the mean time, despite the aesthetic damage I am hopeful the stand is still functional while I work on getting you a proper replacement.
This is my nightmare with boutique small batch production - having a random issue come up and not having extra inventory.
Luckily I believe I might have an extra one of these that a customer is waiting on for a combined order and perhaps I can get you or them one from the incoming batch.
I’ve received your email as well so I’ll reach out through there when I have more info to pass along.

All good, I certainly don’t fault you for this! Based on the damage it got stuck in sorter machinery somewhere is my best guess. The stand likely saved the wZXL from receiving the full force of whatever ravaged the box, so I am thankful for that!
It is absolutely usable, just the coil sits ever so slightly at an angle which requires a tiny bit of finesse pulling the head out of there from testing just now.
@invertedisdead no frets if I need to wait a bit for a replacement
It really is such a beautiful setup regardless of the damaged stand!

I’ve been getting excellent one hitters even at like 450-470F on the controller.

Does the ZXL use Crossing/CH/Auber style PIDs? That seems to be the case, just wanted to make sure before ordering.

Appreciate your support and enthusiasm a ton friend and I can’t wait to hear your impressions!
They’re currently in line for production, heads up - I am a few weeks behind schedule on those.
The main hold up at the moment is with everything being so boutique small batch, after I send out a round of preorders, it takes me some amount of time to establish enough new orders to actually get production started.
That said the next set of these are all set for production soon for all of these components from my various vendors so thanks to everyone holding it down and rocking with the Z Team!

I think he did another small run. Likely the last. Congrats! If I could have a ball vape stations I’d get the ZX, but alas. However I did order the Mako so excited to try that when it comes.

Yes, these are the last ZX’s available.
I never expected to stop making them but this year orders for my wired vapes completely disappeared.
The ZX was an FC favorite for the last 3 years in a row - but with FC gone it seems to have taken the ZX with it.

Yeah I’m a bit bummed to see the ZX go as that was my “personal vape” design.
People still regularly tell me it’s their favorite.
I just got an email the other day from an awesome PHASE3 supporter who works at a very popular online vape retailer who told me even after trying all the newer stuff the ZX is still his favorite.
I’m stoked people enjoyed it because I really put a lot of time and effort into that kit.
I had some plans to trickle it down into a more budget friendly ZX kit, as well as a next-gen more advanced model. But I guess I missed the boat on that one!

Yeah it’s quite unique. It hits a sweet spot of bowl size, airflow, taste and smoothness that is hard to find elsewhere. The smaller size I feel suits the always on format of ball vapes for me. It’s easy to convince myself to do one more 0.1g bowl. Less so a 0.2-0.25g bowl.
It’s the only ball vape I’ve owned that didn’t intimidate friends or dates, and I think that matters. Instead of looking like a huge metallic mad scientist device, it is small, slick and stealthy. I can’t wait to own one again.
It deserves next gen treatment imo. Hopefully that is viable in the future.

I’d really love to see this new generation ZX!
I hope you’ll do a small pre order for the ZX lovers out there, because there are still some out there in the wild. ^^
It’s sad to see the ZX being discontinued, because it’s still my favorite and main vape, and has been since 2023! What incredible longevity! And I’ve tried a lot of other vapes since then.
But I guess a company has to adapt to demand.
I followed the project on FC from the very beginning, and it was really a nice ride.
It’s a shame people didn’t buy more ZXs. In my opinion, it was very underrated, especially because of its small size.
But that’s exactly why I think compact formats are the future.
That being said, the wireless ZXL with its stand is a great success.
I’m going to order the Mako, and I can’t wait to see what new things you’re cooking up for the future.

For anyone with a guess, if I purchased a zxl and bowl or the full kit today, when would it likely ship? I understand it’s preorder, the website still says early August. Not looking for an exact date, just a general idea. I know these things get delayed. @invertedisdead?
