Whenever I reply to a post, I click the reply button in the bottom right, but half the time it doesn’t show that I’m replying to anyone. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a problem with the website? Is anyone else having this issue, or am I just dumb?

You can also highlight a piece or all the text and click quote, so it’s more easy to see on what and who you gave your answer

I think you don’t see the reply if the post you’re replying to is the latest post in the thread

Yeah, it’s still confusing to me because it doesn’t seem to be consistent as far as if it shows who I’m replying to or not. Hopefully Troy can get on here when he wakes up and give a definitive answer possibly.
I don’t know if this matters or not, but I am using a Mac with a Chrome browser. Maybe I should start using the Safari browser and see if I still have these issues

I clicked the Reply button in @Rodney’s post (the one right before this one, when it was the last in the thread), but there is no “reply to” indicator in this post, so confirms the @Esco’s response.

I think you are right. This is in response to an older post, so testing that.
Also, I just learned if you click on the “reply to” indicator, you see the older post. Nice.

AFAIK it will show only if it is not the first topic reply after the post you clicked to reply to but I’ll try to confirm.
Seems to be working (correctly?) that way here.

Hey, I’m testing the last post theory I am replying to McScruffy.
OK it looks like that might be the issue. It’s the last post that doesn’t show in the reply thread. That’s kind of disappointing. I wonder if this can be fixed
I have found the Discord phone app to be easy to learn. Not fully intuitive but easy to get to a comfortable user experience for everyday activity.

Interesting. For me, the “discourse hub” app just presents the webpage, so it’s the same as using the web.
I think they operate differently as far as access and integration with the phone.
I may have to dig a bit deeper I suppose, although the app works better than the web for me.
