I bought one for my frolic. It seems to work fine. Does anyone know more about their suitability?

I have 6 of them in rotation for my frolic and my YLL 3.0 and have had no issues at all for 6 months so far.

Yes they are the shiznit at the moment.
If you dont need to buy for a while, Tenpower 60XG is about 6 months away from production general availability.
Testing shows it performs on par with the top 5000mAh batteries (RS50, 50XG, JP50P1, 50D2, and 60P) at 40V (cold starting Frolic pulls about 38V) but has an extra 20% capacity, roughly. That’s 2-3 extra sessions so it’s on my list.
Yes I’m eyeing them (60XG) but also Moli P50S, P60C and M65A (the latter being a collab with Tenpower) and Reliance RS60… plus the unobtainium V4Smart cells.
But I already got Reliance RH60 and BAK 65E, and while they are quite impressive, they are over-sized for my devices and apply excessive pressure on the contacts and prevent the door from closing fully.
Had same issue with Amprius (Great Power) 50Q/5000Q, good cell but taller and thicker than standard.
So it’s something to watch for: past the 6000mAh mark they tend to “cheat” by using larger cans which might or might not create compatibility issues with holders. Of course barely a problem for custom battery packs but that’s not our use case.

Has anyone tried the Molicel P45B? Gemini (AI) seems to be advising me that this would give me the most sessions, even though it is a 4500mAh cell. They claim that its design provides nearly zero voltage lag (that would trigger low battery cutoff) so it squeezes the most out of the battery.

They are what I use the most, very happy with them. It is hard for me to tell a difference with the frolic but cheaper than the P50B. Works great in my YLL 3.0.
Good to know. I also bought P50Bs for my Frolic but I’d get the P45Bs, even if they gave me the same number of sessions because they’re cheaper as you mentioned.
If they gave me even one more session than the P50Bs that’d be great too.
