An important consideration here is the case news came out while pre-orders were still live. That “leather” case inclusion may have pushed a lot of people over the line to preorder as they saw the eye-watering price as a slightly better deal with the bonus. I think my arguments hold a lot of water still. It’s all down to honesty and as I said if they called it what it actually was or didn’t include it at all then everything would have been fine. Instead, they said they were including something different than what was ultimately included. ---

Reason I wouldn’t is the same reason I never stocked anything but plain black otter boxes when I had a cell phone store. Judging what people will like In something like this outside something really basic and bland is a risk least I how I view it. Usually would let the Walmarts of the world handle the personalization. Think at most id provide something basic and utilitarian and leave it to the user to personalize it. Second reason I wouldn’t provide it in the box is I could probably make way better margins as an add on. ---

I have bought 4 Craft66 cases, 2 for My AE and 2 for a Lobo (one as a gift) Fit is good with all of them, the gift one had monogram issues. ---

How heavy are the cases? With the buttons etc and the Flaske already being a decent unit I was curious if it had any tangible effect on weight for portability. ---

i’m on the opposite opinion on the case a luxury pocket vape shouldn’t need it i don’t want extra bulk in my pocket i don’t have any complaints on the quality of the case either. It’s nicer than the S&B cases. It’s just useless and cumbersome ---

My _only_ reason for wanting one is because I was worried about scratches on the finish. That said, I have not seen a single person mention the casing getting scuffed or damage from normal portable on the go use. Has anyone on here been using on the go without a case had any issues with the outer finish getting scratched or anything? I’m actually against using a case because it insulates the heat in the Flaske and results in the whole unit getting hotter which I’ve wondered about affecting battery or usage life. ---

Ya dog, xtra bulk?? One of my points was had they used leather in the “freebie” as opposed to the thickish pleather it would be a great case! Leather would reduce thickness by 50%! And the case could be exactly like it is now, just in leather! No more mouthpiece issue like with the pleather, leather breathes and pleather does not, so less heat production. The magnet closure is/was wonderful. the issue for me is $600 vape comes with a $3 Temu wannabe case??? Yes it was free, but they did advise it was going to be leather so there’s that. I don’t mean to drone on about it and purchased a $99 case from Craft 66 that will live up to a $600 vape so it’s all good. Just think the manufacturer dropped the ball! ---

Oh mine is super scuffed lol, it’s been through the wars in my bag/pocket. One of the reasons I never emailed Tafee about my alignment issues, because they would have just blamed it on that, and likely added in claims I’m drawing wrong/letting it get too dirty on top of that. ---

Gotcha, good to know and thank you for your tribute lol. Seeing the other pics of those crafty66 cases they do look like they’d be enjoyable but since i haven’t destroyed the current case yet I’ll hold to see if there’s a little more variety or competition because I don’t dig the buttons or the flap. I’m not a fan of a flap in general for the stem area because all it does is get in the way. I’d rather have one that slides up from the bottom like the one for the Angus enhanced does 2 posts up. ---

Right! This is a similar style as the Frolic case he makes. My only issue with this case type(slip on sleeve style) is it can be very difficult to remove should you wish to use another case . This is why I’m glad to see his case for the Flaske will have easy off/on snap style closures. Here’s an analogy for ya’ll let’s say you bought a 100k Cadillac Escalade and you’re driving it home and you realize the floor mats are $19.99 vinyl/plastic jobs from Wally World? Most folks would be a little salty! ---

It would be nice to offer both styles to fit our and many other customers’ different tastes. I just push up from the bottom to get these out of sleeves usually but I get if people with like dexterity issues especially would not like it. Are the cases typically too snug to easily remove? I wouldn’t want it that tight on there. It should hold firm when upside down but not require excessive force to remove if it is sized right imo but that’s my own preference and I’m nowhere near a leather expert. ---

@420vapezone That’s how I feel about my wood vapes. If I’m just going cover it, who cares what it looks like. If it looks nice, I want to show it off and if it’s made well it can handle use without a case. ---

I struggled at the beginning until I figured out that the best way to remove it is to push through the cutout on the bottom. Not too snug but snug enough to stay in place. ---
