A question for people who use the case, does the magnetic cap cause any scratches on the Vi housing?

I stopped using the reload V2 cap as it scratched the crap out of my Tempest 1 & 2. Once the reload V3 came out I polished the scratches out. I know I’m being precious but I want to keep it shiny :star_struck:

Just ordered a heater core. Prolly my karma or something, but I’ve lost about 10,000 balls by now when the screen inevitably falls out.

any feedback on the SS Heater Core?

I’ve had it about 2 weeks and I really like it.

Performance wise is very close to 3mm stainless steel balls, with a little bit of extra conduction.

If you want to puff on your Tempest like a J I would definitely recommend it. I’ve been using it with medium bowl setting and use the YLL around 85w x42 seconds

If i take small 2 second puffs it will stay hot for about 90 seconds, and can get 10+ hits off one bowl. If you want to do direct hits I’d drop the YLL down to 80w or you might get too close to the danger zone :fire:

If you already have SS balls it’s not a must buy, but I think I’ll be using this in future for my MTL set up for the slightly stonier buzz :face_with_spiral_eyes::victory_hand:
