Thanks! It included a glass Sherlock but no stand. I’ll rig up something to hold it upright when needed but at some point soon I’m planning on getting an actual briar or pear root churchwarden with an acrylic stem (not lotr crap) and making a silicone insert for the lotus to fit into. Then I’ll get an actual pipe stand.
NGL, I’m a huge lotr fan and that’s part of why I want a churchwarden. I also think the lotus is so beautiful it needs a pipe to match. But it makes me feel dirty to see “Gandalf” before every regular wood pos with a long stem. The movies, good as they are, low key ruined the books

Oh yeah. I’m also waiting to see what exactly the s14 mako is before I wind up buying one lol. I think it was chillmike who said he should have one in the next couple weeks so the wait shouldn’t be too long.

Still waiting for my first Phase3 device though (wired ZXL) but from all I’ve read on FC, I don’t consider this a gamble.
You’ll love it. The Matrix bowl with it works great for a diffuser style hit but I would suggest starting off with the glass micro-dose bowl it comes with. Works amazingly well.

Far from a gamble. I have the wired ZX and it kicks my ass on a regular basis. These days, the Universal Baller gets a lot of attention for augmenting quartz and surrounding it with metal to get the benefits of both materials but with zirconia, it’s all built into one package.
You’ll taste the purity of glass (zirconia is actually more chemically inert than glass or quartz) with the benefit of the heat retention and durability of a metal. It’s really a connoisseurs vape to me and the only ball vape I own. Hope you enjoy yours!

@invertedisdead What’s happening with the Juiceboxes? I ordered one but if it’s being shelved and the Mako S14 isn’t, then I’d put my money towards that instead of a refund.
He refunded my Juice Box order so I’m pretty sure it’s dead but haven’t reached out to him to confirm.
I got the shipping label email for the S14 last week but it still says awaiting package so it may be longer before I have any input to add there.

Among some other FCers, you’ve definitely been a big brand ambassador for P3 The Most Reached For thread also helped convincing me that I can’t go wrong with any of Ryan’s products.
I’m very excited about the zirconia experience. Didn’t know that it (or anything) is more inert than glass, interesting! Size wise the ZXL should fit perfectly between Hornet and Musa, completing my holy, yet mildly decadent Ball Vape trinity

I was able to finally order a midnight blue Tempest 2 from VGoodiEZ. Unfortunately, they still do not have the blue reload and Tempest case in yet. As soon as they do, I will be grabbing those as well.

Yeah, it was supposed to be an all-zirconia cooling solution, 14mm. Think it’s dead now though

You’re correct. Zirconia would be interesting for strength but IDK how it compares with aluminum for passing heat. And with the machining and materials costs I’d guess it would be a pretty expensive piece.
