What’s a turbo G43 and how is it different to the original?

He been back for a year now. He streams Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 2pm EST Budbosstv on Twitch and YouTube. Every other Tuesday at 7pm with Simrell.

That’s cool! I’d seen him doing irregular streams the past few years but it’s great to see him back doing more structured stuff.

There have been a few changes & upgrades with the Turbo variant of the G43 compared to the OG configuration…
Larger heating element is ~50% more powerful (runs at ~18w versus ~12w)
White sapphire corundum balls (clear rubies) in place of borosilicate balls
Clear/polished glass joint instead of ground/frosted glass
The other main difference between the two models is that the OG model has a “built-in” bowl, you load your flower directly inside the vape it self, whereas with the Turbo G the entire vape is the heating element, and you use a separate bowl for your flower (like a typical ball vape).

I’m really enjoying it alot very nice vapor profile. I know its a pretty limited production I think hes only making a 150.

It’s more flavorful then the herborizer, with those clear rubies all the way through!

is there still a coil in the airpath?
i wonder if the design changes allow it crank up without giving off the hot coil taste
Yes, it has a coil in the slide. I’ve been stepping the voltage up a little at a time to see where it goes. He doesn’t recommend going over 22w, and I’m still just under 21w. So far I haven’t noticed any taste from the coil yet. I’ve still got a little room before hitting 22w, so I’ll keep adjusting the voltage up slowly until I get there.

Mine has 2 prongs that offshoot down the sides of the inside of the unit. The balls fill the middle pretty much. Ran at 7 volts for superb flavor and 10 volts to really kick up the punch! Awesome vape fo sho!

Wow, how many watts you at running at 10 volts?

Not sure. It only shows voltage.
Forgot if you dont the FNIRSI controller it doesn’t show watts. I know if I go between 7.4 to 7.5volts Im over 22watts which Bud said you shouldnt go over but not sure why we can’t. I thought it would burn out the coil or something. Good to see it didn’t. Keep us informed how it holds up.

yes, I ordered better banana style cable splitter today, and a smaller power bank by Ugreen, as this one is a monster. Needs latest PD spec I believe, since year old PD bank I use for iPhone couldn’t reach 7V

Really looking forward to this vape.
I’ve moved away from my ball vape as I prefer smaller doses and I’m generally getting better flavour, comfort and convenience from my stick vapes.
I love the routine/workflow of this device from watching bud use it.
Then being able to pair it with a cool piece of kit like the fnirsi and a power bank is icing on the cake.
Very much hoping this is what I’m looking for in the evolution of my vape journey.
