P22 “Lee’s” - Freijo / Salmwood.
Freijo (Cordia alliodora) belongs to the same genus as Bocote, Ziricote and Louro Preto, to name a few of its most prestigious members.
Very interesting wood with rather unusual grain and tobacco color with warm tones.
Sometimes also called Ecuador Laurel, Spanish Elm, Cypre or Salmwood.
Like most species in the genus it has a characteristic smell, giving it even more character.
