Vapman and Vapman Click by Inhale

Vapman is an analog vaporizer designed for dry herb and traditional hash.

This vape is heated with a micro torch and is considered a micro-doser.

The bowl is gold-plated copper. The heating is mostly conduction, with a tiny touch of hybrid convection.

Vapman was originally released in 2006.

Vapman Click & Vapman 2.0 – Quick Overview

Hey everyone,

we’re David & Michael from INHALE — first of all, we just want to say we’re really happy to see this forum live.

Creating a space where people can openly share their experiences, tips, and honest opinions is something we truly believe in. For us, this kind of exchange is what builds a real community — and that’s just as important as the products themselves.

If you’re into manual, flame-powered vaporizers, Vapman is something quite different from the usual battery devices. It’s more hands-on, more about feel, and definitely more about flavor.

Both the Vapman Click and the Vapman 2.0 work with dry herbs and concentrates, which already puts them ahead of a lot of devices in terms of versatility

Vapman Click – Easy, Precise, Modern

The Click is the newer version and clearly designed to make things simpler and more consistent.

What stands out:

  • Click temperature feedback

There’s a small disc inside that gives you a “click” when you hit the right temperature, and another when it cools down.

-> You don’t have to guess anymore, which makes a big difference, especially if you’re new to torch vapes.

  • Very fast heat-up (~5 seconds)

The gold-plated copper bowl heats up quickly and evenly.

  • Larger bowl (~0.2g)

Compared to older versions, you can load more, but it still works great with smaller amounts.

  • Adjustable airflow

You can open it up for easier draws or restrict it for denser vapor.

  • No electronics

No battery, nothing to charge, nothing that will die over time.

Overall:

The Click is the more accessible version. It gives you consistency without taking away the manual feel.

Vapman 2.0 – The Original Experience

The 2.0 is closer to the roots. It’s more raw, more manual, and gives you full control — but you need a bit of technique.

Key points:

  • Manual heating (no click system)

You control everything with your flame and timing.

  • Same high-end materials

Wood body, gold-plated copper bowl, very clean vapor path.

  • Extremely efficient

Works great even with very small amounts (~0.05g).

  • Outstanding for concentrates

Both devices handle concentrates well, but the 2.0 really shines with hash — many users consider it one of the best setups out there for that.

Overall:

The 2.0 feels more like an instrument. It takes a bit of practice, but once you get it, it’s very rewarding.

Click vs 2.0 – Simple Difference

  • Click → easier, more consistent, less guesswork

  • 2.0 → more control, more technique, more traditional feel

Both:

  • Work with herbs + concentrates

  • Deliver very pure flavor

  • Are extremely efficient

What Makes Vapman Different

  • Fully mechanical

No battery, no electronics — these things can last for years without issues.

  • Flavor-focused

The small bowl and heating style bring out a lot of taste compared to many electronic vapes.

  • Microdosing friendly

You don’t need much material to get a strong effect.

  • Very compact and portable

Easy to carry, no setup, no charging.

A Bit of Background

Vapman has been around for quite a while. It originally started in Switzerland in 2005 and is now made in Italy, in the Dolomites, by a small team with a lot of passion for what we do.

It’s not mass production — it’s more about craftsmanship, materials, and continuously refining the experiencewhile staying true to the original idea.

Final Thoughts

These aren’t for everyone — if you just want to press a button, there are easier options.

But if you enjoy:

  • having control

  • getting the most flavor out of your material

  • and using something that feels well-made and thought through

then Vapman is definitely worth a look.

Click = easier, more forgiving

2.0 = more raw, more control (and amazing for hash)

Both are solid — it really just depends on what kind of experience you’re after.

Got my first vapman a few days ago, a walnut Click with the mica.

Really loving it so far, a lot more than I ever expected I would to be honest. It’s one of the first torch devices I’ve used that truly gives a long session with a lot of puffs from a small bit of herb. It’s so quick to heat that the multiple heats to cash a bowl isn’t bad.

Dr. G commenting on a Vapman thread… it seems like this parallel world has something familiar about it!

That’s comforting! :green_heart:

It was a day for cleaning and waxing some wooden pieces…

The piece in question is a maple stand for a blackwood and walnut pipe, themed around a solar eclipse, made by Aezhenn Wood. The pipe is also pictured above. The pipe is used with my Lotus

Also Vapman lover here  really like them, especially if you think about how long they are produced. Different wood types, different feeling in the hand. That’s somehow a unique concept. Always tasty, especially with the mesh and some hash, easy maintenance. Personally I like the older ones OG, 1.5 more. Also the first 2.0.
