The laser thermometers have issues reading the temperature of the bowl, and would only give part of the story. Much of the heat isn’t going to hit until you inhale. As a comparison, I can stick my finger in the bowl of the TM2 comfortably with it set on temperature 8 assuming I haven’t been using it. The Frolic, which is mostly convection, I can touch the inside of the bowl without a blister, but it hurts, the Mighty+ left a blister so I quit sticking my finger in bowls.
My Venty has been a trusty companion, coming from someone who used a Mighty+ religiously. It’s truly a device I can load and sit back and relax whenever I am watching a screen or passing it around with homies. I try to keep it at home or in a stationary environment since it excels as a true session device. It’s been going strong for over a year!

@Charles I used a probe and held it so it was at the same spot along the bottom wall. Someone on Reddit was saying some other vape was more convection than the Venty and I was pretty sure they were wrong.
Has anyone tried or have experience/thoughts one these Venty products.
Funny that you just posted this because 20 minutes ago I just bought the titanium mouthpiece for the Venty as it was on sale for $4.99. I was picking up some other items anyway so I’m curious to see how it performs or if it even makes a difference but I figured for $5 I couldn’t go wrong lol
Haha ya I’ve been looking at these not necessarily for heat but I’m curious if it would change flavor. What mouthpiece did you get?
The little glass one that just replaces the plastic one on the cooling unit is good. It’s not a majorly huge difference but it’s noticeable.

I realized that the main reason I was hardly using my Venty was a certain anxiety about efficiency. Compared to something like a stick or ball vape you need much more herb and the extraction is not nearly as thorough. But now that legal, plentiful weed is available I see myself using the Venty more and more, it’s so chill and easy and the vapor fluffiness is indeed super pleasant, even though I do like to produce some huge clouds from my other vapes after spending some time with the Venty.
Still dislike cleaning it compared to my other vapes but I have two cooling units I exchange, so there’s not that much cleaning necessary.

I’m similar, except with the Frolic and Venty. If I don’t want a full bowl, I can put tiny amounts in the Frolic and microdose. If I use the Venty I need a full oven.

You’re doing something wrong. I can put .05g in the Venty and one shot it.
If you have a weaker lungs, try waiting till the shut down buzzer goes, that is when the oven is at peak temperature.

Same thing. I can just cover the Venty screen which is very little and get it done in 1-2 hits
jojo, after some time with frolic I tried venty and I was surprised that at a similar temperature and quantity I was much more smokey after three puffs of venty. I also had a greater tendency to cough…and I was in a state of greater intoxication.
venty is great, but I will have to figure out how to reduce the dose, otherwise it would disrupt my sensitivity…
and I feel that because the heat is partially conducted along with the convex, probably more than in Frolic, the taste and intensity of the vapor is greater and stronger. that in the same time everything evaporates more.
