I love this idea of “modding” and optimising the volcano bag system to make it better for the user.
I have another tip and that is this - never do full bags as by the time you get to inhaling the vapour from the bag its all stale and imo not as potent and half it is stuck to the bag. instead of doing full bags tie the bag in the middle and do half bags as it is much better and get you more high imo.
2 half bags get me much higher and taste much better all the way threw than 1 full bag. You dont even need to tie the bags just let them half full or fill to your desired level but NEVER full right up.
Try it and taste and feel the difference!!!

Yeah, I spent a lot of time dialing in my bags to get the full use of one dosing capsule into a bag. I can normally get down a bag in a few minutes. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bag get stale. It just loses its vapor, and I open the valve to empty it and start over. Yeah, I really love what the community has done with integrating the volcano to Home Assistant. Without them, it wouldn’t be possible.

I use a Best Boons 36" that I cut in half. I end up with about 2 - 14" bags. Works great!
