So my main hobby for many years was gaming. I gamed lots on PC (StarCraft, sid meier’s alpha centauri civilisation) then on PlayStation 1 xbox then xbox 360 and PlayStation 2. I constantly gamed and miss it, cant concentrate on anything for too long now saldy but sometimes i can for a bit if I get the right game.
I now only game on PC and not as much. I played world of warcraft for many years but not stopped and just bought manor lords to try get me back into gaming. I got a key only costing £12/$16
In the virtual world of Second Life, I am a creator. I have developed a line of virtual dogs, and I teach “residents” of SL how to use these dogs to enhance their Second Lives.
My gaming days are over already a long time ago, but I did love tomb raider, I played a lot of them. And some racing games my favorites were need for speed and some gran tourismo. Then suddenly I got board of it and never played again except every once and a while checkers or chess.
haven’t really gammed since college over 20 years ago… was when GTA really took over and now here we are and they still are at it and have the fanbois going nuts… really i always said if/when EA gets MLBPA license back i’ll buy a new system.. used to lms MVP baseball.. also played the other sports games… Hockey/Madden.. didn’t really mess with the bball one but FIFA was fun back then too.. also NCAA football bc so many teams and shiz.. i’ll still play Wii on occassion.. Little Ones want a switch but i don’t need them infront of screens that much
I recently got a Steam Machine (unfortunately underpowered and overpriced compared to their original plan, but still perfect for my needs) and have been replaying Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time since release on PS4. They never did a native PS5 version so it still runs at 30fps on console but now I can play it on my big TV at 1440p with locked 60fps and a lot of the settings extremely high and it looks and feels so different, it’s stunning. I love just going around hunting and fishing and stumbling across weird shacks in the world.
I’ve always been a fairly big gamer but I’ve fallen off this year especially. No longer feel the need to keep up with every new release that even slightly interests me.
Solo games I’m playing through right now are Ghost of Yotei, Silent Hill F, and Hitman VR. All three great games, but this Silent Hill is not as good as the others. Ghost of Yotei is an absolutely gorgeous game.
Never been big into gta, which is odd, since otherwise big open world games are what I look for. I saw a little update on gta6, though. Sounds like they’re building it up to be some kind of paradigm changing thing. What are the odds it’s another cyberpunk instead?
GTA is one of those game series I’m never excited about but eventually play and then spend dozens or hundreds of hours in.
They’ve been developing it for like 11 years and the last few has been focused more on polishing the game from what i understand. It looks incredible from that Netflix deep look special, ngl. I’m just against that price tag lol.

God of War - I freakin’ love this franchise. Great game, albeit super violent.
GTA-V - Screw the missions. My favorite game with a buddy is to see who can cause the most mayhem, get the most stars and stay alive the longest before getting busted or dying.

Not sure when or if I’ll really get into gaming again but I was a computer child of the 80s so I’ve seen my share of the PC stuff over the years.
I’m doing a second playthrough on Cyberpunk and it’s such a brilliant game. I love getting on the motor bike and riding around the city, picking up random jobs & blowing people up with grenades
I’m also playing the new Grim Dawn expansion. If you like ARPG’s I highly recommend it. It’s got a great skill system with tons of difffent builds which gives it a lot of replay value. It’s a great “switch your brain off” game, getting into a zen like state clicking monsters to death
And I just found out the Witcher 3 remasterer comes out at the end of September. I’m so excited, and the best part is it’s free if you own the original game
Yeah Cyberpunk is amazing these days since version 2.0
I always liked it a lot, especially the story, but it was so clearly massively unfinished and shouldn’t have been allowed to release in that state. Once they actually finished it and revamped the skill trees and added a bunch of new features it became a masterpiece imo
but sometimes i can for a bit if I get the right game.
