Awesome, I’ve seen Buckethead solo or in some group settings about ten times live, and saw Bootsy’s band in 1995, I also saw a band that was called Colonel Claypools Bucket of Bernies Brains, had Les and Buckethead and others in it, neat band

yeah bucket of bernies brains and frog brigade i think are the les shows i’ve seen… didn’t catch bootsy in 95 but did get to a pfunk show sometime in 07 i think it was… still to this day… that was the most tired at a show i got.. they kept playing and playing.. george would come and go but think he was just heading backstage for some crack rocks between songs.. but the show just kept going and going.. no setbreak.. nothing.. just music for like 4 + hours… i had to sit down… only show like that that put me on my ass.. literally in a good way

My hobby outside of vaping is traveling, photography, and people watching at cafes with my wife 
. I enjoy exploring new places, eating with the locals, and watching them go about their daily routines. While getting the opportunity to learn about thier history and cultures also. This is one of my favorite photos from my last trip to Japan. We are leaving in 3 weeks for Africa. It will be our 1st trip to that Continent. I am pretty excited!

I used to ride bikes a lot. Up until I crashed and highsided at Lausitzring in Germany 17 years back. Now I’m mostly at home and watching MotoGP and enjoying music - I have a vinyl and cd collection. The MotoGP races and movies I watch on 108” screen with projector.
Here’s one of my bikes: It’s a Honda VTR 1L V2 with 2 big 48mm Keihin carburetors. That bike had great lowdown torque.
And here I’m riding my Ninja at the Brno track in Czech Republic. Fantastic racetrack with 73 meters of elevation (happy elevation family hehe)

My other hobbies are probably a lot more boring than yours 
. For me, it’s mostly about learning about history. I love discovering what happened before our time, whether it’s recent history, the Middle Ages, Antiquity, or even prehistoric periods, where it starts crossing over into paleontology.
Basically, one of my biggest hobbies is simply trying to understand what happened before us. For some reason, I find it absolutely fascinating. That also includes archaeology and pretty much anything related to discovering and understanding the past.
And of course, all of that becomes even more interesting after a good vaping session.

I might have a new hobby. I had some trees cut down and decided to made a walking stick, which led to me looking up how to decorate it, and end the end, I bought a knife specifically for wood carving, and this is fun. If it turns out, I’ll be making more.

I love ancient Egypt and learning about how people did things without technology we have today. I love learning about the dinosaurs and what became before them.
I also like learning about how the planet earths history and how it went threw lots of stages of development before the continent that became the continents we have today.
I watch on YouTube then i try get my head around it all and it is mind blowing. I also think about what things will be like in the future and outer space especially the solar system I am interested in.
I like watching documentaries about evolution and skeletons and graves getting dug up, especially in the artic and Antarctic as they are so well preserved their and we can find out so much, arrows, tools they used and stoles that show what they ate.
I love it when there is a new discovery of an even more ancient skeleton than before and they can put together the links to find out more about how we lived back then.

Wow! It sounds like we have a lot of the same interests. I’m guessing you’re also interested in DNA and ancestry. I’m absolutely fascinated by it! I recently had my DNA tested, and I’ve found the results incredibly interesting.

I would love to see everyone get a DNA test so we can share and use the data to forward our understanding of where we all came from and lots of other discoveries could be made just by DNA testing everyone. This would also help with things like disease risks and matching drugs to people with specific genes.
It actually terrifies me but in a good way to get my DNA test but I will get it done in near future and post back.
I used to have this massive interest in WW1 and 2 but after watching and watching I feel like the subject does not have as much of the intrigue as history from way before so now i rarely watch anything to do with those wars.

had a beast walking stick i pulled out of the lake, was gnawed off a tree from a beaver and left.. had the tooth marks at the top and everything, then one day i left it near the garage and closed the garage door on it, snap.. still fucking pissed years later

MotoGP round 13 of 22 races - this race weekend was at Motorland Aragon in Spain
They are riding prototypes 1L V4 bikes with around 300hp and weighing only 160kg
Here’s a clip showing Marc and Marco battling down the back straight with over 300km/h while Marc’s girlfriend and Marc’s father watching anxiously from the pit box

My other hobby is HAM radio and communications. I had a CB radio and did DX’ing (talking to people in other countries via sun skip) I had all the equipment big amp and several rigs. I stupidly gave it all away and sold some of it as everyone started using the internet to chat.
Nowadays I have a few handy radios that cover most frequency and a scanner but you do not get much around here to listen to, just this one guy playing music and talking nonsense on channel 19.
I found out about Kiwi SDR last night and started to use it and is decent as you can listen to people who have it set up all over the world just like you are in their location. Is very easy to work once you get hang of it.
when you go to the site you get a security warning as it is just in http and not https but you are not entering any sensitive data just a username you make up at start so its fine.

As an educational hobby I love the “ Nerdy “ stuff like many. Besides being a huge progressive rock fan, sci fi and a Trekkie light guy I love Theoretical Physics and anything dealing with biology. I find string theory and space time fascinating as well as the workings of mycelium sprouting their fruiting body’s our beloved mushrooms or the migration habits of a Warbler. This would be a great community thread of its own! The “Higher” Thought Thread….. Hey Troy….do your magic!

My other hobby
i realize they’re related, but it’s a bit of a labor of love that not everyone gets to enjoy in their lives. It isnt super difficult, but it can be a bit disappointing at times. I wouldn’t give it up ever. Winters (indoors) are for Ms. Jane, summers are for my vegetable garden area outside. I used to have Jane with me outside, but Mrs. Nature is a raging alcoholic in my area and has temper tantrums.
