I see a lot of folks selling devices when they get a new one, but others have a collection built up. I’m a bit of a collector (not at the level of many here!) and while I tossed a couple crappy vapes that stopped working, I have most of my vapes still, and even use most of them, at least on occasion.
Do you sell your old vapes, save them for display, or actually still dig out the old ones from time to time to time to fire them up?
I had an old Dyna B with a FMJ that I gave to my son’s girlfriend to entice her to stop smoking.
She now hits that and carts 
Dynavap’s are packed away, I haven’t used them in 3 years, but I want to keep them. Pax 3, XMAX V3 Pro, OG Mighty, Mighty +, are getting gifted. Hopefully I can help convert a couple of smokers.
I’ve kept all but one that burned everything to a crisp, so I couldn’t acknowledge it as a vape.
Vapes and glass I’m not currently using are in cabinets and drawers. Every morning I clean my prior days glass, then decide if I’m continuing with those pieces, or using other pieces. Then I decide what older vape to use with current favorites at my station.
There is no way I’d sell a vape, or glass, or dab mat, etc. That’s my kids inheritance. When I’m gone there will be bongs and vapes to remember me by. Plus, I’m planning on haunting.

I have most of my collection, only began in December 2024. I’ve sold my Solo 3 v2, a Ruby Twist, and a Peak Pro.
The Solo didn’t pack enough punch for me so I didn’t see a need to keep it and wanted to find a different purchase.
I actually made money on the Peak Pro. I did a charge back because it was such a hunk of junk. I won the charge back and sold it for $150, it was still in good condition. I had to replace 1 atomizer and it was fairly new. I didn’t want the thing.
The Ruby Twist I should have given more time but I upgraded to a UB v2 and an SS WOHW.
I as well have been more of a collector than seller. I have given a couple Dynavaps away but still maintain a collection of them. All my other vapes I do like to pull out from time to time to run a bowl for old times sake but focus on my big 4 portables. I have gifted a couple of my first portables to siblings/friends to try to convert from combustion…Fuck Combustion!
Im a bit of both, I’ve sold most of my electronic portables, rather someone actually use em than gather dust in the closet, but i’ve kept every ballvape, dynavap, tempest and dani i’ve bought and dont intend to sell em. the community in my country is not that big, so i still got 3 electronic vapes left to sell a solo 2 and legacy pro 1 and 2, got some pickers but alas no buyers yet
My older vapes are still with me being used. Some of them act as loaners for the community.
My EXTRA vapes get given to low-income chronically ill MMJ patients in my area. Many of the “out of favor” vaporizers from the forum also get sent to me to share with those in my “Paying it Forward” program.
Due to limited living space, I only keep 4 or 5 vaporizers out and at the ready, but still have dozens upon dozens of units here.

M7 sits in a tube, lent my FIL my YLL 2.0.
We’ll see what happens to the Fury 3 once the Flaske comes in. I have a feeling it will become my go-to travel vape out of fear of having the Flaske confiscated.

Dig Madri-gal Style.i try to keep the original box, and shelve everything but 1-2 in the current rotation. Pockety, 2zm, and Lobo are out and everything else is in the nostalgia cabinets. Got a kick out of last night’s show for that very reason. Seeing old school stuff b4 my time was way past cool. The Verdamp in action was worth the price of admission. 
Save the ones that are special to me like the crafty+ and give away the rest. Sold a few dynavaps on fb marketplace but not really worth the effort.
I use them until their is hardly any battery life left, then I dispose them at the electronic waste

A lot of this sounds eerily familiar.
At one point I built up a collection of vaporizers I wasn’t using all the time. but it didn’t feel that good to me so I sold them or gave them away.
Today I have four DHVs in my collection, two glass pieces, a couple of grinders and a couple of IHs. This is about the amount of stuff I actually find useful every week. If I found another vaporizer I wanted I’d probably get rid of one. I’ve had good luck selling on EntExchange and also giving vapes to buddies.
Mainly I’ve just bought all these vaporizers over the years to try them out rather than to get a collection going. Having said that, big respect to all the collectors out there. I know there are some people here with insanely impressive collections.
I know what you mean with vaporizers just sitting around. Makes me feel guilty they aren’t getting used and I feel someone could benefit from them. The harder part is finding a combustor to attempt a switch.
Tell me about it! I’ve mainly given vapes to people who largely don’t use them or just give them back. That’s why selling for a friendly and lowish price on EntExchange seems like maybe the best way to get a vape into the hands of someone who will use it regularly?
