What is your ‘Go To’ vape or your number 1?

Phase 3 ZX or ZXL. Depends on if it’s a large or small med day, extraction and taste are the same. Sometimes other devices rotate in but never for more than a day or so.

I had the OG Crafty, it wasn’t that much different. The crafty plus I like more

My go-to desktop and daily driver is the Couchlog. Just an awesome log.

The Frolic holds top spot as my go-to portable.

Have you tried the 2?

I most often rely on my portable devices. It depends on the mood but out of my vape collection my top 5 portables in order of preference are as follows:

  1. TinyMight 2 - no other portable I have can give me the clouds I get with this one.

  2. Limelight Frolic

  3. S&B Venty

  4. Arizer Solo 3

  5. Lobo/IQ2

My favorite device overall to use is my WOHW ball vape. Side note: I am loving my new Mini ball vape setup with the Herb Cloud Crown, the TM2 stainless steel bowl and the YLL3.0. The performance from this little setup with a little tweaking of reheat times is surprisingly impressive. It’s a truly wireless setup that can be moved about incredibly easy.

A log is on my list eventually. They’re just beautiful and would match the esthetics of the bar I have in my basement.

Frolic is a beast…it will take a lot for a new portable to unseat it for me…but the Flaske has been like 1B.

You’re getting bigger clouds off the TM2 over the Frolic? Interesting!

My WOHW has me faded this AM (I might have done one bowl too many)

But yes, that little crown I did not expect to hit as well as it does and be as nimble as it is.

I think portable induction friendly ball vape is a space that can be expanded on.

Battery Portable: Frolic with Flaske/Bowle close by

Stick Vape: Tempest 2

Ball vape: Hornet

if I had to choose one Frolic works in any situation I need

The Universal Baller V1 wired and V2 wireless UBs generally speaking.

Narrowed down further it would probably be the UB V2 FMJ adapter with 2.5mm SiC balls. I personally love them in the quartz lined FMJ a lot (high purity SiC). They don’t dump the heat so fast and hard like they do in other full metal housings in my experience which is great. I also find the flavour/aroma profile of the SiC and corundum very similar with the quartz liner and FMJ adapter, so having the higher conductivity and mass of SiC inside those thick SS walls, thin titanium and a quartz liner just makes sense to my overthinking and often backwards brain :brain:

That’s the only housing I use and enjoy SiC with tho. Otherwise it’s 2mm Zirc or corundum balls in my UBs and other ballers :+1:t2:

Edit: just want to be clear I’m not recommending anything and just answering the thread question literally unless I missed more details (still learning the site)

I don’t think I have one. The Venty tends to win the reach test since it’s simple, I don’t need to think about it, and it works, but even it is getting used less than half the time.

All my vapes have different experiences and I pick up what sounds good at the time. It might be the Frolic (probably second most reached for ATM) or the DaVinci (the least often reached for) or anything in between.

Going in public, it’s almost always either the Lobo or the AVLP2. Close to bed time it’s usually the Universal Baller. I have a Vapman coming in the next few days, and likely it will be the most used for at least a week.

Lately I’ve been using the “I’ll think of something” quartz cap through vgoodiez stack bubbler, dry. Heats up in 15 seconds and fully extracts the .15g load in a few fills of the bubbler. Cheap, fully glass air path, soft flavorful vapor, heats up and cools off pretty quickly. If I have more time to hang out for a while and session I’m enjoying the Elev8r.

I only vape at home and I’m not a heavy user so this is perfect for now. A ball vape or log might be in the cards for next winter though when I’m confined to indoors again.

I am sure it’s a technique thing with my draw style. I never get dark roasts from my Frolic or Venty for that matter at 390 which I seem to run 95% of time. For my style the Frolic hit strength sits between the TM2 and the Venty. Close to as punchy as the TM2 but not the same kick me in the head hit. I am sure the resistance plays a sizable part too with the tighter restriction I get from the TM2 and the Missile stem from VGoodies.

The AVLP2 I love for how sleek it is, pocketable and the wireless charging is handy. For $99 bucks it was a steal….full price I’d have never got it though.

I haven’t tried a Venty yet, but the TM2 vapor always hit me as harsher on the top end. The Frolic I run in the mid 400s and the open airflow made the vapor seem fluffier to me. I did have to mess with the TCR as I was getting near black ABV at 428 sessions.

I’ve been experimenting with more low temp hits recently though.

Yep, i have both, but still I prefer the 1

@FortyFistHits - Yeah, mine was also $99, but I have had to do one warranty claim which raised it to $114, but I do think the price is a limiting factor. AVLP had never been on my radar until I had the chance to pick it up for $99.

There is no doubt in my mind….would love to see UB come out with an induction heated mini set up along these lines….could be something special to explore.

I should clarify that with my Venty I run 390 for 3/4 the session then kick it up to 410 to finish it but the avb is always lightly toasted only. I do agree the Frolics vapor is very comfortable for the volume. I love the device and the perfectly smooth fluffy vapor like the Venty only stronger.

probably a bowl size / inhale variable

Frolic can keep up with TM2, it just needs a little more herb in its bowl or a more meaningful inhale. TM2 shines with terpene representation and smaller bowls though

Right now the Flaske has been winning the reach test almost all the time as I’m really enjoying the more clear-headed high, being able to store two more pots inside the device itself, and how quickly I can finish a bowl. But if I was forced to only keep one I think it would be the Venty still, for the simplicity, consistently even extraction, and more full-bodied vapour.
