I really loved my OG Angus 50 and 100 watts, but those lightbulbs died on me a few times.
Kinda surprised at that, mine were used every day and never had to replace a bulb!
Not saying you weren’t careful with your Angus, but I dropped the OG Angus & the AE a time or two onto hardwood floors, maybe 3 foot drop and they kept on keeping on!
Never a complaint about quality of YLL hardware from me never had a single problem! Halogen is a great heating source, not sure why it isn’t more widespread as a heating tech goes? Seems everything is going to a stainless ribbon coil like the Frolic uses. It could be a subjective thing but it just seems halogen produces a quality vapor, not a “roasty” vapor if you get me.
Again my beef with YLL was a response that took months and I’m Leary of Chinese manufacturing/materials as no oversight regarding product safety for end users! I mean who is inspecting materials & processes? Not the Chinese gubmint, from what I understand manufacturing is like the Wild West mixed into gold rush fever!
With permission and appreciation, here is the teardown video for the AEV2

Looking forward to the new YLL vape and I hope that they have learned a thing or 3 about supporting both their products and their customers.
yessssss. this was ultimately the reason for me pulling my review.
I think the situation could have been handled so much better by YLL AND the community.
Hopefully everyone has learned from this and we can all move onwards and upwards.
I would like to malign this vape. Temperature is not stable makes this vape not useful in my context.
