Convex 2.0 by Entheos

Not me, but no scams I assure you. Some buyers can attest to same stripe link.

oh shit!!! I love this vape. I find myself using more V1 than V2, but love them both…

Can you please share your settings on the V1? I am tired of cleaning out combustion every 3rd bowl lol. When it hits right it is fantastic.

Combustions? Oh wow.

So, I have it like this:

Room temp 22, dynamic, TCR 0.00180 and resistance locked 0.024 (from 0.2536 to 0.256) over the autolock value (when cold). And I use it from 195 to 210 C.

What is your autolock value and what resistance value have you locked? I would suggest start with a cold autolock and moving up bit by bit from there.

Edit to add resistance values

So I’m not 100% sure what the auto lock is or does. I see a timer when I try it lol.

My latest settings were room temp 71 F, constant, tcr 00190, temp was 447 F. Resistance is .27-.28. I have tried settings from other users, tried the settings from the maker, I’ve tried lower temps and no real consistency. Some I’m sure is the device and some is definitely my lack of knowledge/user manual :joy:

I will try these out next, appreciate it

You run autolock at room temp to set the true resistance. The timer only gets about 60 seconds in before it finds and locks the value and that’s your starting point (it’s where I left my resistance while increasing the TCR).

From Entheos site:

TCR Reset & Change C/F

  1. Access the main menu, select MODE
  2. Select Temp
  3. Select C or F
  4. Set room temp (default 20C)
  5. Select DYNAMIC
  6. Select TCR
  7. Select the TCR value — do not adjust it yet, leave as is
  8. Select AUTOLOCK for a TCR reset, or USE OLD if you only changed C/F
  9. AUTOLOCK will start a 10 minute timer — it should complete in around 1 minute
  10. Try to remember the coil resistance value displayed. If you miss it, run through the TCR sequence again and choose USE OLD at the end to read it
  11. Based on the auto-locked coil resistance, adjust your TCR value accordingly. Shortcut: on the home screen hold FIRE + UP at the same time for 5 seconds

Ok after cleaning from the last time I used it lol, I auto locked the resistance, changed to dynamic and the tcr to 180 and lowered my temps to 412. I also realized i was resetting the resistance every time i changed a setting. First 3 bowls were great. Y’all saved this device from my cabinet of shame! Much appreciated fam!

Interesting that Entheos replies to you about unforseen canadian duties here, but completely ignored my private email to them about it. With their price + duties that is half the price of the device you basically can buy a bowle or a flaske.

Well it seems based on comments above yours there’s an issue with the person we normally work with actually being able to access those accounts.

Hopefully it gets resolved and you get a reply

not sure if you read through the thread but he mentioned he’s been locked out of all of his accounts by his business partner

I am actually waiting for him to get back to me on important matters as well, for almost 2 weeks already. Still locked out of accounts until now.

I am confused… someone posted me a new stem (mine was chipped) from UK. So, someone is doing things for Entheos… i hope they can solve the issues, the vape is great…

The original designer’s business partner is the one shipping out from the UK.

Honestly, the guy seems a bit flaky. I contacted him several times about buying a unit in the UK. He was great at making promises until it was time to actually sort out sending it. I’m not chasing anyone to give them money, so told him to forget it. Lucky escape by the look of things.

A shame really as this looks brilliant.

Is Jamie the business partner? I never got tracking info sent to me and inquired on a Thursday night whether my order had shipped or not. Since I thought my order hadn’t shipped yet I went outta town a few hours to see my in laws. Jamie quickly replies that they know it’s been shipped. No big deal, I can come home early but I still want that tracking to see if it’s delivered or on route. If it’s not delivered I don’t have to worry about coming home early. Jamie says they will get it for me and get back to me that day(Friday). Never heard back. I contact again on Saturday morning and get this response:

"Apologies it’s Saturday and we try not to work weekends!

It’s definitely been sent.

I’ll be home in a few hours I’ll check the details and find the tracking number"

Response kinda read to me like I’m inconveniencing him on his off day for something he was supposed to follow up on during the week. He messaged me at 10am and by 5pm I still hadn’t heard back so I send another message asking. Finally on Sunday morning I get a email with a quick message saying it’s been delivered. All that for a defective unit. Logistics still must not be fixed because I never got a email with my replacement units tracking number either.

I will say Jero has been awesome in all my troubleshooting with him. No bad words for Jero’s customer service.

Yes, that’s who I was dealing with.

Emailed about buying a Convex 2. A week goes by. Nothing.

Email again. This time I get fast replies. Tells me on Thursday that they will contact me for my address etc and get one out the following Monday.

The following Wednesday comes around and I’d heard nothing. I send a reminder to be told I was “on the list” for that morning. Still nothing that morning so I emailed back to say not to bother.

If you don’t want my money, just say! :joy:

Posted in the wrong but also related topic for screens, reposting here:

So the 15mm snowtree titanium screen has a nice friction fit (much more resistance) in the 14mm bowl section, but does warp down a bit into the cooling area. I think thats a bonus because it means bigger bowls lol.

Haven’t tried it yet but I imagine I won’t notice that much difference… I just had to because I emptied my bowl into a toilet while traveling and the OG screen dropped in there too. No f’in way was I going to attempt recovery!

Really liking the Convex2. It took a little getting used to, but I think I have it dialed in now. I’m getting great hits, and the AVB is coming out looking perfect.
The size is ideal as well. I picked up the Simrell Hydro and the G43 around the same time as the Convex2, so it had some tough competition. Now that I’ve put some time on it, it’s really proving to be a great vape and has earned its place in the rotation. Its like a console game system vs PC gaming, its not plug and play but once you get the settings right its a better experience.

Following up on this, I don’t know if it was the screen change or what but this is operating flawlessly now for me and put me in an excellent state last night. Hotspots are in the past. The aluminum tape fixed the firing button beautifully. The bigger bowl volume from the screen has made it even more tasty I think, but that just might be in my head. It’s ridiculously good once dialed in and shelved my TB2 this week.

I’m in agreement with the last two posts. This vape might take a bit of work to dial it in but once you do, it’s really nice.
