Crossing Tech / RVS Coil King AIO

A few quick thoughts on the device after using it for several weeks. I usually vape at home 99% of the time, but this device has actually changed that

The AIO is a small, portable and affordable rosin pen. It has a very simple design with a coil and an inserted glass rod or ceramic rod, depending on the coil. The rosin drips down from the mouthpiece onto the coil and is vaporized there. The whole element with coil and glass rod can be unscrewed and soaked in ISO for cleaning. I rotate between two of them, and after several weeks of use and cleaning, they’re still working fine. I’d say I get about 5–6 weeks out of a regularly cleaned coil. But I don’t do heavy use - mainly just on the go. Heavy use will last not taht long. I also rarely use flower rosin, so the coil doesn’t get dirty that quickl. If needed, you can burn it clean - I’ve tried that too. It worked, but imo it slightly affects the taste afterward. That said, the coils aren’t very expensive though.

You can choose three temperature levels, which I find completely ok for this kind of device. Level 1 is for flavor, level 2 for clouds, and level 3 if you really want to push it or for burn-off during cleaning. Flavor-wise, it’s perfectly fine. Not as tasty as a real dab in banger, but that’s not really what this device is built for.

The vapor path is isolated from the battery electronics. At the bottom of the coil, there’s a piece of insulated wire that looks like silicone or ptfe to me. It doesn’t get direct heat, and after extended use, I haven’t noticed any changes. Otherwise, the vapor path only consists of kanthal coil, glass/ceramic and zirconium.

You can unscrew the bottom, to get access to a small silicone container to store some rosin for on the go. I don’t use that at home, of course. If you don’t like silicone, the lid is metal and can be cleaned with ISO, too.

Battery life is perfectly fine for me. I get around 8 sessions out of it, sometimes more. I’m on heating level 2 most of the time. With USB-C, it’s easy to quickly recharge in between.

All in all, especially for the price, it’s a great device imo. I like the compact and lightweight design, how stealth it is in public, the simple operation, and how quickly it’s ready to use. Since I got it, I actually take it outside quite often—it looks like an e cigarette. I also don’t have to handle herbs for filling or swap capsules, both of which can smell quite a bit. It even comes with a bong adapter, but I didn’t tested it. Dripping onto the coil doesn’t really work upside down anyway. And at home with a bong, I still prefer using a banger.
