Hey all. Had a question about the helix and VonG X tips. I have a Simrell micro heritage, thread protector with a flat stinger mouthpiece. I’ve been playing legos with all the tips in my collection and… idk. I think I’m missing out on the new stuff.
How’s the airflow in the helix? I’m coming from (mostly) the M7 tip. It’s ok, it’s not the 18/19 ss and ti tips but those tips have the four o-rings to connect the stem and it gets wonky. Is the vong x tip more impactful than the M7?
I was also thinking about adding the cap armor to both the vong (ss armor) and helix (ti armor) while also adding the perforated cap for the ti setup. Thoughts on the setup/s

Dynavaps are what got me started and completely away from combusting around 5 years ago now. I will always cherish them for how they’ve basically changed my life and got me into this hobby and community. While they don’t get as much use as they did when i started out i always keep them close.
These 3 are my favorite setups even if i havent tried all the tips that exist.
I’ve recently deepcleaned all of my tips to basically new and they look as beautiful as ever. All of these tips have a halfbowlconverter in them because thats how i like to use them and the added thermal mass helps with an even roast.
I got an I.O hornet a few days ago and plan to use these badboys with that moving forward, excited to give it a first try later today.

So I’m getting into mix and matching different dynavap vapes. If I was to just buy a bunch of parts so I can have a ‘workshop’ for dynavaps? I know different parts but what would be a good ‘starting’ amount?
I am one of those impulsive peeps who will buy too much of everything lol

a suggestion i’d make is to get a WPA so you can try whatever tip and cap through water aswell. There are so many different types of stem though so native use is really up to personal preference. Maybe get an intercooler from TRWW to pimp up your condensers too

Also check out POTV dynavape parts.
The good thing about the Dynavape is you can use other stems that are 8mm like Vaphit X stem and Infinity Stem by TS Wooden Art (bit pricey)
Also check out 3D Hula Cooling Stem as they are supposed to be so so good only thing is the o ring seal can be a little loose so sometimes the tip comes off when remove the cap but that can be reminded by using slightly bigger o rings.
That is the other thing if you going to do this get a good stock of different sized heat resistant o rings as different parts fit better with different sized o rings.
Back when I combusted I used to do this same thing with pipes. I would buy all these parts from this shop called Smoking Ideas and make all these different pipes big and small, was a lot of fun.

My husband got me into the dhv scene, and I fell in love with the Hyperdyn. Then I went back and tried the m7 and loved it for travel.
I want to make special vapes and make a collection… I maybe liked Legos too much as a kid, LOL!
I also have friends that wanna try dry herb, so I would like to make them something, as a gift. I love doing stuff like that.

I also just got the VongX tip in Black Stealth TI. I didn’t want a full device, since I had the SS Vong X, but a new tip? Sure. And it looks kinda cool in two tone with an armor cap.

I have the Hyperdyn, SS, Ti, Helix and M+ tips. The Hyperdyn is the weakest link. No matter what I have tried with the Wand, it just sucks. Underwhelming. I use it occasionally on a Bonger with a torch. This is a big regret purchase. The Helix and M+ tips are easily my favorite.

I hear you man, I feel the same way. I actually won the Wand on a giveaway. I tried it twice and never used it again. Maybe it works better for other devices, but for the Dynavap I think it is completely useless.
I have the Brute and still the old Portside mini for induction heaters.
Although now that I’m rereading your post, are you saying the Wand sucks or the tip sucks? lol
Either way, I standby my statement that the Wand is trash

I have been looking at an excuse to get the TI helix and ti armor cap/perf caps.
grabbed those for my extra simrell heritage stem (H2) and grabbed a bag too.
My first serious dynavap purchase.

I just got my WPA today in the mail. It fits perfectly and exactly what I needed. Went with the one from TRWW since I’ve ordered them before. I don’t have anything fancy, but this is my Dynaverse:
