my guess with the hyper is that the Titainum tip + Titainum Cap just don’t hold heat long enough and, being Titainum, there’s less wiggle room on the heat up to overshoot it compared to SS Dyna’s

I have never thought about that… I get it now, but I like the fast cooling.
How much difference does a mouthpiece make in the hit smoothness/temp? I have a (preowned) m7 that didn’t come with one.

Depends upon the mouthpiece. The standard Dynavap XL mouthpiece, slight difference. Something longer like The Rouge Wax Works Pinner, substantial.

So right now, I use the Wand to heat my hyperdyn. Can’t do the spinning motion for torches anymore, my wrist sucks.
My question is can someone explain to me how the timing and settings are on the dang thing?? Like explain it to me like I’m 5 please. 
I usually try and aim for a one bit hit, then a smaller one to finish it off. Right now, it’s 590F and it clicks first right as the light goes solid. Second click is usually a second later.

Hopefully you get something decent, I see a lot of the grab bags aren’t coming as a full device worth of parts anymore

It is my first device from dynavap (or rather device parts) order. We will see. For $40 i wasnt expecting much, they guaranteed some specific stuff.
This is more of a side project for me. I was never able to get my m7 to work right. I stopped using it after the third combust in a row…but i ordered some different stuff so we will see.

So the Rogue pinner is one to look at. What other mouthpieces that fit the m7 do a good job with cooling/decreasing harshness?
TRWW sells an intercooler too, but it will restrict the draw a little bit and you might have to clean more frequently (twisty metal that goes directly in the condenser)

Delivery of the grab bag
So not what i was expecting. Looks like m7 stem (no mp), feels like a ti cap, ss armor cap, feels like an Ss bowl, and an empty plastic container. I am not sure if this was what the minimum was or not because they removed the entire listing, but i think it is. Also, the TI cap looks used compared to the ti cap i had ordered, but it’s a full device minus the MP.
I dont know if i will ever do that again from dynavap, but for $40…..ya know suppose i cant complain too much.
Edit: the tI cap that i bought dies not click onto the ti bowl, but the free one i got in the bag (the used looking one) does.
Admittedly i am a bit disappointed with the quality of the dynavap stuff. It isnt surprising though.
Edit2: i was doing a burnoff and the ti cap fell off onto the carpet, but i caught it in time….i am kinda pissed. I have reached out to support about the cap. This is my first full dynavap purchase i have made.

There are captive and non captive caps, that do and don’t have the indents to hold the cap on.

Yeah luck of the draw I guess. I feel like that claim of $100 value is a bit of a stretch unless you pull something really nice which is probably only a small percent. I guess if you take everything at full retail but a lot of the stuff is b grade or seconds. I saw one post on reddit, someone got 5 bags and not a single condenser. So basically they spent $200 and can’t even assemble one full device from all of them lol. And the cap looks burnt because they are cut with a laser or something like that.

Whats weird is that it works fine on the SS bowl i got in the bag.
After i settled down from the carpet drop (i got lucky), i fixed it by increasing the indent ever so slightly. And it works fine now. I dont know if it was a vortex bowl issue, or a cap issue…but it’s fixed.
I have tried both, the flavor on the TI is really nice, but i need to refine my technique because it needs reheats to get extraction. The SS bowl/cap is definitely a seshing head. Flavor is decent, but i get 5-7 decent pulls off of it (i kinda like that).
I am not unhappy…i mean i spent $94 and got almost 2 full devices (edit: no condenser)…..but i just wasnt “wowed” by the bag deal.
Stem is H2 from Simrell.

Is that an old style SS tip without any channels at the top for the air to get into the bowl?
Like many on FC at the time, I modified most of mine for more airflow by grinding out some notches in the rim which was a big performace boost. I think that was the point that I became converted to vaping
Also meant to say before, check out some of Josh’s other Snap videos for Dynavap. He covers all the basics and drops some top tips quite quickly in that series (and you can watch his beard grow and shrink over tiime lol)

It’s been a few years since I’ve really used my Dynavaps, but this weekend I’m going analogue only.
When I first switched from combustion to dry herb vapes, I struggled because nothing hit quite like smoking… until I bought my first Dynavap in 2017. That quickly turned into about six of them, but more importantly, Dynavap gave me what I needed to finally leave combustion behind for good.
So, out of respect for where it all started, the old Dynavap collection is coming back out this weekend. And here’s probably my most prized Dynavap possession, The Omni Ti…
