Haven’t ordered from Poland but plenty from Europe just seems high to me. And as dumb as it sounds yeah probably how id sell it with the 280 plus 20 shipping. Remember people bitching about 55 dollars from the Philippines for the Convex which logistically should be more complicated.

The complexity of Elixir is in it’s simplicity

I work hard to decrease number of required parts while keeping and improving functions.
Gives pure natural flavor and powerful enough to keep stable temperature.
Elixir evenly extracts up to 40-50% of flower without steering and combustion.
I think it’s fair price.

Yeah ceramic isn’t cheap and I hope my cage comment wasn’t taken too negatively. It was intended to be lighthearted.
I’d love to see some more videos of it in action and some user feedback from paying customers. I am interested but probably won’t look to buy until next year considering everything else I’ve gotten recently.
Edit… read up on the difference and I was meaning black zirc ceramic in my comment above. This ceramic is much cheaper to produce so I’m guessing labor costs are factored more heavily than the ZXL which is also filled with lab sapphires and something with significantly more overhead and kiln time. Molds are possible for high temp imperial ceramic which may lower costs in the future if they aren’t being used now. Molds aren’t possible for black zirc ceramic and they must be machined after they are created using specialized diamond tooling due to the hardness rating of 9.
Edit 2: yesterday I learned black zirc ceramic is able to be molded as well. I remembered this comment and wanted to make it more accurate. Looking forward to picking one up next year!

Looks very interesting and like a genuine innovation! I’ll also wait until more people have tried it but could very well see myself buying one next year if reactions are good.
Not really clear for now where you plug it in. Can it be an outlet or powerbank or whatever? Or are there any restrictions or considerations here?

Just to clear things up on the materials - the porcelain has a hardness rating of 7 and is covered in high-temp glass that’s harder than steel, so you’re getting a true all-glass path safe from scratches.
I could technically harden the glass up to an 8 or 9 rating (Gorilla Glass style), but I don’t really see any solid reasons or benefits to doing that here.

Had my elixir delivered from Poland to uk no problem.
Only ever used storz and bickel device’s (volcano and venty) .
This hits different definitely more effects. Had a full night’s sleep first time in a long time.
You can taste the bud more .I love the fact I can change the peices around so the chamber size is different.
There was a learning curve for me but now after a week im happy I bought .
Its not a 1 hit thing .I use .25 and it last a few mins . Which I prefer being an ex smoker I wanted something that wasn’t 1 hit.

Wondering how sturdy the springs/coils are. Do they stay taut enough to hold the stoneks or does one need to start re-coiling them at some point because they get stretched out?
FeCrAl Coils holds it shape sturdy up to 300 C. on 600 it is still stretched enough to hold stoneks. All you may have to do is stretch it back down once it cools down.
I didn’t re-coil any of my daily drivers - they are sturdy
BTW: when Elixir is heated to 500C it turns into the ashes any oils that stuck inside (Pyrolysis)

Wonder if it’ll be as good of a device as the BAKx. I know they’re completely different technologies but I actually find it more beautiful as an artisan piece. Plus it’s priced a lot better and will hopefully be easier to get, so

Glazed ceramic is simply a two-layer composite trying to replicate what a piece of solid borosilicate glass already is, and the two are far from identical under real-world thermal cycling. Glaze is a thin silicate coat melted over a porous clay body, which creates an inherent risk of thermal expansion mismatch (crazing)—microscopic cracks in the surface that trap condensation, compromise structural integrity, and make deep cleaning nearly impossible. Unlike pure, homogenous borosilicate glass (like Schott DURAN) or passivated 316L stainless steel, an opaque ceramic airpath cannot be visually inspected to ensure 100% smooth glaze coverage without exposed, raw clay patches inside the internal pathway. For a €300 unverified device from an independent builder, claiming it is “as safe as glass” requires actual documentation: specifically, a lab-certified Heavy Metal Leaching Certificate of Analysis (CoA) confirming the glaze is 100% lead- and cadmium-free, proof of thermal shock testing, and clear CAD or teardown schematics proving the airpath is completely isolated from raw clay and heating elements. Without published third-party testing or independent community teardowns, calling a glazed ceramic prototype an “all-glass path” is just a marketing shortcut for a material system that carries far more variables, risks, and degradation points than pure scientific glass.

Just a suggestion regarding shipping. In a previous life 
, I used to export products from Canada to Ukraine and Russia, and I worked quite a bit with a Ukrainian shipping company called Meest.
They specialize in international shipping and have a strong network between Eastern Europe and North America. I just checked, and they currently ship directly from Poland to both Canada and the US.
From what I can see, their rates (159 zloti =40$) seem quite a bit cheaper than the ~$80 shipping cost you mentioned. So it might be worth checking their website and getting a quote from them. Maybe it could help bring the shipping cost down for your North American customers
