2 bowls in so I will say the vapor is smooth and very comfortable. Flavor is on par with the really good hybrid devices. No terp burn. No urge to cough.
will see how far I can push it and how it tests through the Honeymoon phase.
After a 5 min heat soak, (bowl pre loaded) I got dense pulls and vapor production for about 3 minutes after ripping on it for the first few pulls.
How would you say it compares to the closest direct competition I can think of in the form of something like the ZXL? Both ceramic but different types/classes and heat sources.
Or was the hybrid comment because it’s more hybrid heating?
More hybrid in effects. It was almost instant, not the slow creeping heady convection effects.
Compared to the ZXL, the ZXL leans more ball vape convection so the terps are sharper/brigher?
But the vapor is smooth and comfortable as well.
Just did an experiment. Did a shesh with an initial timer set on Alexa for 4:40.
Great hits. Plugged it back in for 2 min. Another great few hits.
Said f it, plugged it back in and went for 3:00 min.
The vapor was near combustion maybe even pyrolysis. It tasted popcorny but actually …sweet?

I just ground up some trop C. Loaded the Elixr. Set an Alexa timer for 4:28. idk why that number.
Then filled a bowl on the ZXL. Great hit. Smooth and terpy. Orange juice.
By now the Elixr was ready. Hit that for a round. Back on the battery for 2:30 on an Alexa timer.
Finished it and it was really great. Smooth terpy but not as sharp, more hybrid vapor. Orange Julius.
What did I tell you?

One other thing I forgot to mention is it has stayed incredibly clean so far. A deep clean will be painless.
Thats good because deep cleaning is the only area I would be concerned about the glaze really.

@Sloik do you anticipate new colorways or maybe even doing custom color orders in the future?
That emerald deep statis color is really nice and almost a match to the glass i would use it on.
Either way following this with piqued curiosity now but realistically this would be budgeted for a first half 2027 purchase for me. Hoping to see lots more positive feedback on it after the collective skepticism of a new product and maker!
