I’m a PA medical patient. Five years ago the only flower available was 1/8’s at $60.00+, and 1/4’s of smalls and ground flower.

1/2’s and ounces weren’t available. I was happy 3 years ago buying 4-1/4’s for $192.00. Today I bought an ounce of Rythm Afternoon Delight #4, labeled 40% THC, 3+% terps, and was 61% rh. On sale for $100.00. I had $9.00 in points, so a quality ounce for $91.00.

Way more choices than 5 years ago. I can get quality ounces for $125.00-$150 regularly.

Way more dry herb vapes available than 5 years ago. Look how the ball vapes have taken over. I think it was pretty much the pinky 5 years ago. I never thought I’d see the legalization we have today, and the supply of herb and devices to vaporize it has exploded.

I couldn’t have asked for anything else in my golden years.

Five years ago I got my medical card. Never imagined that I would be “legally” partaking of weed when I became retired.

From the perspective of someone living in a country where it’s illegal, I am so happy for all of you guys that you can enjoy freely the magical herb

Five years ago I was still combusting and was playing world of warcraft all day every day. I was so so unfit. All that coughing and sitting.

The other thing is since I go to the gym a lot now and at church/college I am a lot more confident with people and can speak to people a bit more easily.

:thinking: I totally get you, @Crush-Hardtack. This isn’t how I pictured retirement, but I didn’t know I’d get long covid and quit eating. While I tried the stuff as a kid, I ignored it my working life. In fact they ran sniffer dogs on occasion in my workplace. Now I pass two dispensaries on the way to the grocery store. Weight is stable.

“The weed is wonderful, too bad I had to get so sick,” I remember thinking. One dispo has a drive through. The future has mixed results…

In 2021 I had Covid/Pneumonia/Heart Failure. I spent most of July in the hospital, and had to wear a defibrillator vest 24/7 for 5 months when I got home. I’m still fighting the effects of Covid. My heart was slowly recovering, then I got a cancer diagnosis last year.

I just can’t win lol. If I was 30 years younger, I’d be concerned. The main man let me open my eyes again this morning, so I’ll give it my best shot. One day at a time.
