I thought I’d share my favorite way to use the Frolic. I didn’t like how far away the bowl is using a TM2 stem with the direct oven adapter so I experimented with a mouthpiece that has a 14mm joint.
Not only does it extend into the oven nicely but the glass adds some nice conduction to an otherwise convection dominant vape. Taste for me was super terpy compared to the stock PEEK and the 14mm joint-as-a-bowl is huge if you want it to be.
Without AFC, heat management and airflow will be governed by your stem so add cooling beads if you need and pack accordingly. I like some restriction in this scenario. I used a silicone collar to keep the part above the joint stable but you could use an o-ring too. The seal is great.
Got a male/male 14mm adapter and use it with my favorite glass and pipes too. I love it.
