Not having received the Flaske I ordered, I definitely had a slot to fill, the Fuji worked out nicely at the reduced price. I’m happier as a Fuji/Bowle 2 owner than I think I’d have been as a Flaske/Bowle 2 owner. The form factor with the Bowle has alway been a plus for me rather than a minus, if that wasn’t the case, perhaps VAS would still have me on the hunt for a Flaske to purchase. So it worked out for the best in the end.

With the price change, I view the Fuji as a more affordable Tetra by Lamart. From the airy hits that build and stack density. To the wide open airflow with no restriction in sight. The basket loading and draw technique. All of it reminds me exactly of a tp80/ tetraX. I don’t think Fuji vs tafee is an accurate comparison. Just wanted to put in my two cents.
I agree, Tafee products aren’t a great comparison. I think it’s more about the similar size and shape between the Bowle 2 and the Fuji that prompted the comparisons.
I think most of the vapor comparisons I’ve heard mentioned have a similarity in that they rely on glass/quartz/a halogen bulb for their heater. I think it’s the radiant heat from glass that gives the smooth vapor and highly efficient extraction. I’m not an expert though, just my observations.
I would say that the vapor signature on a terpcycle as an example is much more comparable to the Fuji than a Tafee product.

I did one more out of requests that I got but consider them both at home mostly portables so similar in the situations they’d be used in for the most part with the Bowle 2. Fuji I don’t have a good product to compare it to directly

My Fuji stopped working today, pressed and held the fire button as usual, but now after a couple seconds the first and last lights start flashing. It doesn’t heat at all. Sent email to Camouflet, but thought I’d see if anyone has had this issue?

NH’s great walk and talk video triggered my VAS really hard for this one so I ended up snagging one which arrived today!
Put a couple of bowls through it on heat level 4 using the dry glass piece and am very pleased with everything so far. Here’s some thoughts:
- The heatup time is truly nonexistent. I was waiting for a colour change or something and then realised it just was already at temperature.
- The dry glass piece felt great to use and it didn’t take as long to get visible vapour as I expected, just needed a handful of seconds of a slower draw before I could start speeding up and it could keep up with me. Finished both bowls in two hits with very nice clouds if not the densest I’ve ever seen. Forgot to take a pic of the AVB but it was very roasted and even
- Fantastic flavour, maybe not quite as pure as the Flaske for me but certainly very close behind. I have Liberty Haze rn which is a very “zesty” strain and I feel like I can still taste that zest 100% with the Flaske and maybe like 85% as much with the Fuji. However even dry it was not very harsh at all for me and I don’t feel like I’d ever really feel the need to use it with a water piece, other than just to try it out. Lovely smooth hits
- Effects are very head-heavy but definitely with more body than the Flaske, I think NH basically nailed it here. Imagine a Tafee high but with an extra tingle or something, you feel it but it doesn’t paralyse you at all. Fantastic for daytime.
- The device itself is gorgeous, really pretty and a great size - basically the exact right size to make it comfortable to hold despite the non-ideal design. The two non-whip mouthpieces being big glass things means they’re gonna get visibly foggy/grimy faster which I never enjoy looking at but it seems worth the trade-off for how well they work, and they look nice on top of the base.
- I like the basket things as far as using them goes, easy to fill with no tamping necessary and you can adjust the fit well, it’s no trouble to empty them out and they aren’t adding too much to the flavour. However I do wish there was some more storage for them besides the bit at the top of the bag as I don’t really want them loose anywhere with them technically being nearly all mesh. Really makes me appreciate the Potter further.
- The packaging is both really great and kind of annoying. They give you this fantastic well-made bag with space for everything and it’s awesome but most of the time I will not want to use most of these things, especially the whip, and just want the device and one mouthpiece and space for a bunch of the baskets. Hopefully they release a more compact storage thing one day or someone else makes a basket holder or something like that because if I want to take it around the house I don’t really want to be taking the whole bag with me.
- The tariffs were ridiculous on this one lmao. Altogether with the 5% NH discount the Fuji + 5 more baskets came to £315 for me with delivery, which was pretty damn good, but then the tariffs added an extra £81 on top! So I would not necessarily recommend any European users import this one themselves. The UPS refunds did have something about part refunds for tariffs the US Supreme Court eventually rule against though so hopefully that will happen eventually.
- It claims it can use any USB-C cable but then the cutout where the cable goes in on the back of the device is so specific that there’s probably a lot that wouldn’t fit all the way in lol. But the Apple one I got fits fine, I think that’s basically what they included anyway. Charging isn’t too fast but given I’ve heard the battery life is excellent that’s fine with me.
Overall my initial thoughts mostly revolve around the idea that it kicks ass and is exactly what I was hoping it was. Even if it had just had the Flaske + body effect I would have been happy but the speed, taste, and smoothness are also excellent, with the storage thing truly my only major gripe (where am I gonna put all these baskets after I fill them lmao).

They sent me a label, the Fuji was sent back on Saturday, should arrive in CO for repair today or tomorrow. Hoping to get it back soon, I was really getting into it, was quickly becoming my preferred daily. I will definitely give all the details of my experience, good or bad. So far it’s been good.
It’s on my want list now that it isn’t priced as much as a used Civic.

I just came across this charging port fit the other day with a different cable was like god damnitt lol. Tarriff adding onto prices is truly annoying for sure

not true my kids first 2 cars were civics for 300 bucks one needed brake pads the other a crankshaft sensor think both came out 10-30 dollars under the fuj lol

It definitely helps that I wasn’t aware of this thing until they had actually dropped the price. That initial price was absurd and definitely would have soured me on it. Tariffs aside, this cost only about £5 more than the Venty, TinyMight, Frolic, etc all go for on UK vape retailer sites, and is definitely up to that standard imo, doesn’t feel cheap at all even if the wood is a bit IKEA and performs as well or better than all of em.

Went to level 5 on this which is pretty great although I did end up combusting a little on one bowl so I may stick to 4 so I can be a little more careless with draws? Super manual vape. But the extraction on 5 is unbelievable
Definitely finding the effects line up nicely with my favourite strains and what I want out of using weed which is fantastic. Seeing this as my main office/desk vape for general daytime use. Have to get an office and a desk first though. Hopefully two weeks from now but that’s a whole nother thing. Basically the effects help me make nonsense posts like this
The baskets are weird, I still like them way more than not but they do look like some weird basement experiment and little bits can get stuck at the bottom easily. Getting them out of the device isn’t the easiest if they’re in at the intended tightness level. Extremely easy to fill and clean though. Direct comparison with the Flaske they definitely do affect the flavour more but for me personally it’s too minimal to matter. The zero tamping helps a lot with full extraction where a lot of other pure convection vapes fall off
Still no sign of anything approaching a real heatup time like you just press it and start hitting, I keep leaving a second or two but I totally don’t need to. Battery’s only gone down to 3 since I fully charged it so it definitely lasts a long time.
My main issue atm is just the basic glass mouthpiece thing where it gets foggy fast which is annoying when you’re trying to see the vapour and when it’s building up or dropping off, but that’s not anything unique to this device of course 
doesn’t take much ISO swished around to clean it up too. I like how the mouthpieces are designed so they can stand freely

I ended up getting a female to female adapter and running a mouthpiece from my sky glass bubbler on it a lot. Tightens it up a little for the draw. Glad you’re enjoying it still rocking it most the day right now. Also run mine on 4 alot for the same reason once I figured out the draw and combusting just made riding the line easier with it on 4
