Summertime is the ideal time to vape outside, but you don’t always want to look for a spot where you are alone. There are ways to vape in public without being noticed, here some tips
First what kind of vaporizer. Obviously something that doesn’t draw attention. I use a Norddampf Relict, it’s small and looks just like a nicotine vape. A Pax falls in the same category. I know a guy who vapes an older arizer solo in public and he acts like he is sipping a milkshake. A tafee bowle 2 with a cup is perfect too. Keep in mind, not many people know about DHV just make them think it’s something else.
Second your placement. Look at the wind, your vapor has to go away from the people. Sigaret smokers are your best friends in this case, when they light up a sigaret you start your vape, their smell is stronger. Near a barbecue the same or close to a kitchen where they are cooking.
Third how to vape. I use temp stepping and the timer. I start low temp, small draws for about 3 min. Then a break. Next 3 min a little higher. Break, and so on. So instead of finishing your bowl in 3 minutes you spread it out to 4 times 3 min. Relax, enjoy your company, vape slowly and nobody will notice you.
This is not about having the most efficient vape, or the strongest vapor but about vaping in public without drawing attention.

Flaske is indeed a great option for that, assuming you’re not worried about people thinking you’re drinking (imo not actually that likely because you’re not doing a drinking motion).
I try and stay a little apart from people but otherwise I just generally let it rip. Maybe it’s a big capital city thing but people truly do not care here.
The Crafty+ is my favourite vape for trying to be discreet. I can palm it in my hand with just the stem sticking out, and I can start it in my pocket and know when it’s ready by the vibration and I can keep the temp lower if I want to reduce the amount of vapour and crank it up by temp stepping. Even though it is legal where I am, I still like to be respectful when I’m in public because I know not everybody likes the smell. I have used this on restaurant patios with no issue and taken it into concerts.
I feel like a small erig with concentrates might be the way to go. I got a yocan pocket for just that purpose. It’s small enough to mostly hide in the hand and would look like a compact nic vape to most people. Be careful with the smell like @Sabina said and no one should be the wiser. Anyone who knows what you’re actually doing will be a dabber themselves so they won’t rat you out
Side note: I can’t understand why yocan calls their new one “mini”. It’s a couple mm smaller in 2 dimensions and the mouthpieces are actually interchangeable, per @Northernhigh420 (he says the ceramic lined one for the mini is an improvement so I plan to get one when they start selling them separately). They would have been better off calling it pocket 2 so that it seems like an improved version of the pocket. Mini makes it sound like it has the compromises that usually go along with a smaller version (à la switch go vs the 2)

Vape choice while important for being incognito this is basically the same as being pulled over. Dont act like you’re doing anything wrong. Your body language is the most likely thing that will give you away. Dont look around nervously just do what you’re gonna do.
I prefer to not vape in public because it is still taboo here and if someone wrong catches the scent it may create headaches even if I’m a registered patient. Vaping outside like in my back yard is a different story.
That said, when I do, by far and away the most stealth DHV I have and prefer to go out with is the Convex 2.0. It’s compact and can easily be mistaken for a nic vape or just as easily be hidden from view in your hand. With the size it has more weight than you’d think but isn’t heavy enough to be that noticeable… I’ve forgotten it’s in my pocket multiple times before. I put a silicone plug in the stem and it is 100% smell free.
Downside is it is only really good like that for one use unless you wanna carry a lot of extra things to clean and reload because that is the least enjoyable part about it. It hits hard enough one bowl usually does me good for a while, though!
I also have used smoke hunter 2.0 filters which are shaped like a travel water bottle. They aren’t as good indoors as the Sploofy Pro but outside they work great. I do a drinking motion and exhale during that. It’s extremely stealth because I did it by accident near a very judgy older couple a year or so ago without realizing until the end and they were none the wiser.
If i don’t have a filter, I would definitely look for a downwind spot to stand.
Also, my little vaporizer has a big bowl, I stuff it really full. Reloading I don’t do in public. I you want to vape more than one take a walk outside public
Very good points all around. It bothers me that a huge part of the world still isn’t comfortable with weed consumption. Considering you can legally buy enough alcohol to kill a person (many ppl actually) and there are many places you can consume it without issue, the double standard is ludicrous.
Ok, that’s my little rant. I’m so glad to live in Canada where it’s at least legal country-wide.
Back on topic, I also think the Convex2 is my best stealth vape, followed closely by the IQ2.
The Convex is easy to palm, hits on-demand in seconds and you can use capsules for stealth re-loading. Also it tastes great and the cooling is built-in.
Today I saw somebody who vaped a Venty along the seaside dike. Lot’s of people. He didn’t hide it, he held it before its face like an old man smokes a pipe. He made little puffs, nobody paid attention. So how you act is indeed the most important
Pre becoming an official antique, I used to keep a clean, large McDonalds soda cup and lid to conceal an Arizer Solo with an extra long, white Sneaky Pete’s stem. Worked pretty well for the cheapness of the construction and with a few stems I were set for the day. Post antiqueness I went to mods and either Humboldt (rip) or I Love Hemp concentrate atomizer.
