Just spent some time looking for a dynavap or hyperdyn discussion and couldn’t find one. If someone has any tips or tricks for the hyperdyn, both normal cap and THC, I’d be thrilled to read them.

I use a three flame torch, heat it low on the bowl with a few passes over the cap until the first click. The second click usually happens after I start hitting the device. After the cooldown click, I heat it high on the cap for a second round. This has worked for me to get a nice dark roast full extraction without combustion.

Is anyone still using his/her hyperdyn? I have a feeling that there are so many good alternatives on the market, that the hyperdyn incl. the T.H.C came too late to the party.

I use mine as my main device, with tempest 2 and volcano as backups. I love mine.

Great to read that. I think one main advantage towards the T2 is the faster cooldown of the standard hyperdyn cap. What makes the Hyperdyn your daily driver?
Portability, and dedication to it. It’s too pretty so I forced myself to learn it. Then I loved it by the time I got good at it. Now its easiest for me, because of family arrangements. Volcano is set up in bedroom for sleeping assistance, tempest is usually with the Husband, so hyperdyn and the m7 are the easiest. All my stuff fits on to a small metal tray.

And what are your preffered settings with each Cap and the wand?

Sooo I kinda play around with it, but my ‘main thing’ is using the wand with the original cap. Medium to tight pack, and with a small water piece. The setting for the wand are one the leaf setting and its level 3. I dont play with the other setting enough.
With the T.H.C. on the hyperdyn, I just torch it and hit it with my same water piece.
