In search of the sweet spot (temp setting) of your vaporizer

Am I a vapegeek or do you all do the same? When I have a new vaporizer I always search for the best temp where I have the best taste, the best vapor and the best match for my vaping style. It can take me a long time with first bigger later minor temps adjustments until I have what I am looking for. Even one degree makes a difference. The Arizer Solo 3v2 took me a long time to find my sweet spot. Finally today I had that moment I felt that’s it. I am glad because it was hard, I had to do lots of testing :grinning_face:

The sweet spots of my vaporizers

Crafty & Mighty 185°C - 365°F (the only ones I use 2 temps, only to finish 198°C - 389°F)

HR rogue 2 192°C - 378°F

Arizer Solo 3v2 198°C - 389°F

Wolkenkraft Aris Ultra 200°C - 392°F

I settled on 195c as my favorite solo 3 temp but I only went up/down by fives because I like the orderliness of the numbers (I’m a geek in more ways than one). I’ll have to try bumping it down a few and see if I can tell the difference

I do do a cleanup rip at 205 or 220 because I know there’s at least one terp (forget which) with a vaporization temp around 200c

For my Solo 3v1 I settled at 390*

For my Tiny Might 2 at dial position 7.5

Frolic at 410

Venty at 385 then 410 to finish

IQ2 at 420

Lobo at 390

And the XMax v4 pro at 385

On the Lobo I was a 390 for a year but I finally found that 340 was the sweet spot for me.

I mainly use my Battery driven Devices in two short (about 3 pulls) Sessions with roughly 165°C and 180°C. Just because I hate coughing and that way I can distribute the sharp ans bitey terpenes over some more pulls and kind of dilute them in more Air.
More than that I dump my only half spent bowls without thinking about it. (“…this was Gold where I come from” :smile: ). Do not like the taste with higher Temperatures.

But it’s an other Situation with high caloric Vapes that I use mainly on Water. I got the feeling that sharp and harsh Vapor is more rounded and I tend to use only half of the filling of a Battery Device killed in one Session with two puffs.
This means TM2 about “3”, T2 about 1.5, DigiTI2 320°C, TI1 about “6”.
Volcano OG “6-7”.

May be another way for me would be a single Sweet Spot Temperature and an adjusted draw behaviour but momentarily that did not work well. Greediness and habits kick in…

My temps are a bit higher because I want to keep the draws shorter. That’s what I love about vaporizers, everybody has its own way, so easy to adapt to the style that feels comfortable to you

Interesting. So far everyone with a solo 3 likes a narrow temp range (192-199c). I wonder if that’s common among users or just coincidence.

It is even smaller between 195 - 199C, I didn’t see 192. It’s a good range for the solo 3

My only concern with taste is it doesn’t taste bad, like burnt popcorn.

Venty is 410.

Screwball is 498, mainly because 495 makes me think of traffic.

I tend to pick the temp by the flower I am vaping. I usually start at 356F and go from there. Some strains taste better at 346F or lower and some tastes better starting at higher temps.
