Nothings stopping me as much as nothing is propelling me to do it, so I’m just hanging out not doing it, but not intentionally not not doing it. Or not intentionally not doing it? Now I have to count my nots, because I may have canceled myself out.
I bought a bunch of S&B capsules. Got a cute silicone sorting tray so I can tell the used from unused. Got a filling tray and accessories from S&B. Have a few capsules from other brands as well. Made sure I had the gear. I was absolutely, completely, totally, convinced dosing capsules would be my great passion.
Turns out, I’m fickle. Unpredictable. Mysterious, even to myself.
What’s stopping me ?
Just me.
Just some hidden, internal flaw that doesn’t keep me from dosing capsules, but doesn’t propel me closer. Some gap in the synaptic system that goes around dosing capsules in the loading sequence.
The dosing capsules haven’t been fully integrated yet.
I love my Lobo and I’ve tried a dozen of vapes… I’ve been using it daily for a year. In my situation, the capsules are an unnecessary step. The titanium bowl stays spotless without them. I just scoop and load. With a medium grind, no bits stick to the screen. POTV has a real cool scoop that fits perfectly.
The biggest help for me is to have 2 extra batteries and an external charger (both cheap on Amazon). Never having to charge the entire unit…
P.S. My default temperature is 345 and I use the bulb stem.

Yes, I’d fill up a bunch of capsules and put them in their special holders and jars, then a few months later I’d find stale herb encapsulated in S&B caps turned coffin. It’s just so easy to load, dump and brush out my vape ovens. My portable usage is such that I don’t need to load on the go. I the idea of dosing caps, but they don’t fit my current needs.
I was a big fan of dosing caps for a while, but got tired of the capsules getting stale so started only filling a few at a time, and eventually to not bothering with them. The surprise is that my oven is as clean now as when I used capsules. I’ll still load a few capsules if I’m taking a vape out for convenience, but around home I load fresh ground direct in oven/stem/pot.
I just fill the same capsule over and over again for the lobo and one. I think of it like a little Dutch oven. Keeps things clean and then I don’t have to use the silicon ring and screen above.
My Lobo has suddenly started getting super hot after about three back to back 6 min sessions. I used to be able to run back to back sessions until I drained a full battery before it would even begin to get warm enough it was a little uncomfortable to hold. But lately about the third session the device gets hot enough that I’ve even had the heat warning indicator show up a couple times. I’ve tried different batteries, cleaned everything from the mouthpiece, attachments, pods, and chamber really good but no change. I don’t notice the vapor seeming hotter than it should be it’s just the device it’s self that seems so much hotter than normal.
I never do more than two back-to-back sessions. The idea of 18 straight minutes ever didn’t make the Lobo uncomfortable to hold is the anomaly from my perspective.
Who’s out there with a Lobo and a few other portables?

I’d like to get a couple people to compare their Lobo to another vape and score their sessions using the PFVS sheet
