PAX Flow

Quick summary: PAX’s most significant hardware redesign in years — their largest device, their first with USB-C charging, and their first with draw-adaptive heating. At $350, it’s their most expensive vape yet, and it has some very real problems that must reconsidered before purchase - mainly the hot exterior and short battery life.

Where to buy:

Questions and things to find out over time:

  • How does draw-adaptive heating actually behave in practice — does it noticeably shift between slow sips and hard rips?
  • Does the 35-min continuous use claim hold at higher temps in real-world testing?
  • Cleaning ease with the side-mounted oven door compared to previous PAX designs?
  • How does it compare to the Venty or Solo 3 at the $350 price point?

Agree, a terrible whiff from a company that only makes devices for wirecutter lists.

I didn’t have high hopes for it, but it was even worse than I thought it would be.
