RSO for medical issues, what has it helped you with?

Just curious if or what RSO has helped you with concerning a medical issue. I have noticed a better nights sleep with it and am curious about affects during a potential neurological episode.

good question. how do you consume it?

I have only placed it between my cheek and gum with a finger. Then to clear the goo off any teeth after I chew on a couple walnuts. Definitely helps with sleep for me. After seeing a video of a Parkinson’s patient using it during an episode with almost immediate efficacy and I wonder if it would help in the midst of something like a MS exacerbation.

I let my mouth get moist, then I squirt it, or wipe it off a tongue depressor at the back of my tongue. and swallow it.
If my mouth is moist enough, it slides right down.
I use it for chronic Nausea.
I used to wipe it on a Bugler Rolling Paper or an edge of paper towel, wad it up and swallow it.

We gave it to my father during prostate cancer. He was receiving proton radiation therapy and we started him on RSO suppositories from my sisters grow. She made green dragon tincture and RSO. He’s 88 doing great…that was in 2020!

Wonderful to hear. I have a feeling the right strain could help stop a neurological fit better then most pharmaceuticals

I put .1 or .2g worth into a vegan capsule and swallow that along with something fatty to aid in absorption. It has been good for back pain management on days where it’s worse than others and has helped me sleep. Weird thing I noticed recently is I have some vivid dreams after consuming RSO… I thought the opposite was the case.

I’ve tried it once or twice for stress/anxiety where I let .1g sit sublingually for a few minutes before swallowing. While the taste was super strong and not ideal (and lasted forever), by the time I swallowed it I was already feeling a tingle in my head. The biggest downside is your breath reeks for a while. It is awesome for anxiety and calming down… probably the best way to consume for me when that is the only goal.

I’ve only used it when I had teeth pulled, but I tried putting some under my tongue, but I didn’t like that. I ended up just putting it on food or in a hot drink like warm milk or hot coco. I still have most of it I need to use, but I like vaping more than edibles, and my tooth holes are now healed.

I make edibles with RSO. They definitely help with sleep. My edibles are about 25 mg’s, and one does the trick. They usually hit pretty hard starting at 1 hour in, and keep things pain free and relaxing for a few hours.

I usually squirt a little bit on some peanut butter the spread it on a cracker or something. That way you get the fat for it to bind to. I work at a dispo and people report using successfully for nerve pain that nothing else can touch. The full spectrum high you get from RSO is great. I use it for pain, or just chillin.

It helps me with sleep. When my sinuses are real bad I will put a drop under each nostril and it helps me breathe better through my nose.

Letting it cool down and purge out air bubbles for 24 hours before capping for storage.

I am from the land of misfit toys. I am immune to edibles either through biology or because of the chemicals I take to manage my condition.

I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and I’m autistic. Most of my symptoms can be managed via dry herb vapes and dabs, but every couple of weeks or so, I really enjoy an RSO capsule after eating a fatty meal. Cannabis overall helps with joint pain, muscle stiffness, and sensory + emotional regulation for me, and some RSO can really help on my high pain days or after overstimulation.

Ok, not tryna be a buzz kill, den mother but man watch ur self with RSO!

A couple years back had some dispensary RSO, 1 gram in a syringe. Dispo failed to provide a dosing card, and one gram was supposed to be a MONTH supply. Well I took 1/4(25%)so one week worth of that syringe in a single use on a cracker!

Can you say intense? I am very familiar with all forms of cannabis but this was next level. I had no hallucinations but time crawled, hardcore couch lock and good ol’ manual breathing!

I didn’t freak out, realized I had too much @ one time and locked in for the ride. Kinda of a waste, this was not fun & actually an anxious situation. Found out later daily dose is a rice grain sized drop not 1/4 of a gram. Live an learn & Ill never take that much RSO again!

I have made RSO coconut oil capsules for years. I feel like the addition of coconut oil (or MCT, refined coconut oil mostly) to RSO makes it a better or more viable product.
These capsules work well orally or as a suppository depending on the area of the body the effects are targeted towards.

The effects desired are mostly pain reduction in my case. Mildly euphoric side effects are also welcome.
