My latest parts-bin creation is a Tempest 2 head, on a Vaphit X stem, with a Dynavap condenser and TRWW intercooler.
I did not expect to like this Vaphit X stem as much as I do. It’s got a great weight to it, ergonomics, and 10mm & 14mm joint compatibility. It’s weight gives the unit a better balance with heavier heads. I wish more stick vapes were weighted similarly.

Been heating this one with the Wand. Really digging it. Excellent roasts and airflow.
Tornado with adapter on custom tempest stem. Really like the possibilities of the T1 stem. With this setup the tornado can act as kind of session style.
I did not even recognize that Tempest Gen 1 stem until I read your comment. Beautiful wooden sleeve, overall setup, and vape space to go with. How long does the Tornado take to heat cycle to temp with the Wand? Till timeout?
I’m at about 500F, but I have the old wand, so I’ll insert the tornado from the top. And then I’ll heat like I like - wait short after the click, take a quick draw and depending on it heat it again couple of seconds or leave it. ‘Problem’ is, I constantly change inserts for tempest 1&2, crown cap, Deligneer Dani Cap and tornado. So every time my height varies and I don’t have reproductive results.

It’s a bakm v1 by lamart with the vaphit qoq stem + metal part inside the 14mm WPA of the bakm glass bowl. Perfect match. The other one is a stunner head and bowl on a roupala stem with opals, inside the stem I have the tempest 2 Inter cooler plus some 3mm balls for extra cooling.
The one in the middle is my nic vape, vaporesso xross nano4
