Smell-proof Bags/Storage

I figured this would be a good place to list out some smell proof storage options.

Currently I have the following bags:

  • Stashlogix Silverton
    • My very first smell-proof bag. Works ok, but I could never get the mason jars to sit right in it without sacrificing space. I had issues with this one getting smelly enough times to stop using it.
  • Stashlogix RiNo
    • Used for long term storage of flower jars and to transport them when going on vacation. Excellent smell reduction and tons of padding make this my favorite large bag.
    • EXPENSIVE (>$150 MSRP)
  • Stashlogix Highland
    • I have 3 of these and use them almost daily to carry my grinders and Reloads. Well built and holds up to 4 Mad Heater Reloads or 2 Aroma grinders plus a funnel for dumping ground herb into Reloads.
  • SafeDelux Boston Bag
    • Well built and one of my favorites for storing lots of concentrate jars, especially those too big for the Roonin jar. No smell after 2 years of use.
    • One of my favorites and very reasonably priced. I bought extras of this one.
  • SafeDelux 8x6 Cross-Body Bag
    • Decent smell reduction, but thin bag I don’t expect to last long
  • SafeDelux Storage Bag w/ Combination Lock
    • This looks like it has hard side walls but is soft and collapseable. I have not used this one as much but it’s holding a couple oz in grove bags currently with no smell.
  • SafeDelux Crossbody bag
    • This is my favorite bag to use when stepping outside with all my stuff as it can hold a 7g jar of herb, the Aroma-XL, a funnel, and spare items
    • I use it as a fanny pack versus cross-body
    • Currently unavailable but was $8.47 on Amazon when I bought it last year and is one of my best value purchases
  • Roonin Stash Jar
    • Holds up to 12qty 1-3oz concentrate jars and is my compact preference for on the go.
    • Very low cost
  • Skunk Mr Slick 11x6 bag
    • Flat, no structure but really good smell blocking. I use this one to store larger portable vapes, extra glass stems, etc however there’s nothing to secure stems.
    • Double-velcro seal
  • Skunk Mr Slick 6" bag
    • Very small, good for storing some single battery devices or a few jars of concentrate
    • Double-velcro seal
  • Firedog Smell Proof Bag
    • Many on here already have this and love it. I am in agreement, it’s a great bag at a reasonable cost (<$20) and can hold a variety of items but is not good for holding more than one device
    • Holds 2qty 4oz mason jar

The ones that are in bold above are my preferred and recommended bags.

Dime Bags has some great smell proof bags, particularly the Omerta line. So does Ryot gear. I’ve been pleased with various pieces I’ve gotten from them both.

The Skunk Go-Case fits my Fury 3 and dosing caddy perfectly.

May be controversial but my larger locking smell proof bag came from Temu for around $15. It included some mylar pouches and tubes as well. Seems to be a pretty exact replica of the Skunk/Ryot/Stashlogix products.

Edit: waiting to see the dimensions of the Flaske so I can start researching how I’m going to store it.

I like the Stashlogix Silverton with the dividers removed, personally. I use that to store some rosin, my Dr. Dabber Ghost2, hot knife, cotton swabs, and a Dynavap + torch lighter and it’s small enough to bring on the go while still protecting my gear.

I’ve been using Nanuk/Pelican cases when I find them on sale. Much stronger overall and you can customize the foam inserts. I just use a button-style lock on it and I’m g2g. Also helpful you can use them to store glass pieces.

I really like the ozchin smell proof bags from Amazon. They come in different sizes, have combination locks and fit my flower stored in small mason jars that I got for free from a neighbor. I use a vacuum sealer and bóveda packs to store my flower long term since it takes me a long time to get through it. Low tolerance and veazy efficiency helps my 8th last forever!

I grabbed the Skunk Kross Smell Proof Bag last summer and it’s been amazing! I can pack my brilliant cut grinder, Venty, Proxy, Pivot, a couple of stick vapes with a small torch, qtips, hot knife, iso wipes, rosin jars/flower…so freaking useful!! no smell whatsoever and I can be away from home for hours and still have all of the luxuries lol
