you don’t need that cable I charge mine off a different one all the time like saying I need to use Polaris pure oil in my Polaris just cause the manual says it. Just find one with the same rating for power usually use the one from my iPad. If its that Mirco USB get an 18w rated one should be fine

I don’t see why you couldn’t open it up, find how the battery hooks up & replace it..you might have to splice some wires or something but you have nothing to lose at this point..

as for my Bowle 2, if they dont replace my battery when it finally dies, (which I’m sure they will for a fee) I’m going in & repairing it myself..

Has anyone else had this happen?

I was cleaning my stem the same way I always do. I put a small amount of 99% ISO in the empty bowl, cover both ends with my fingers, give it a shake, clean it with a Q-tip, then rinse it out.

This time, a bit of ISO got onto the outside of the stem. After rinsing it, I wiped it dry and noticed that the textured coating had come off, exposing the darker material underneath.

I’ve cleaned it this way before and never had an issue, so I was pretty surprised. The stem wasn’t soaked, and the ISO was only on the outside briefly before being rinsed off.

Yes, I have a few stems like that. I’m real careful now how I soak my stems.

I went back to 91% Iso…

…the 99% was too intense for the Bowle’s finish.

Yes, I had a stem that I would use 99% ISO on and also dawn dishwashing liquid and my stem got a weird “mottled” appearance.

Contacted Tafee and was advised they would replace the stem and it was a known issue. I didn’t follow through as I didn’t want to pay shipping and tariffs on a “free” warranty piece.

TB2 stems aren’t cheap $62+, and they can ONLY be recd. from Tafee! POTV carries all parts for TB2 EXCEPT the stems! Go figure?

I must have one of the good ones, because I soak mine in 99%iso all the Time for a couple of hours at a time, and I have no issues whatsoever yet.

I’ve had my TB2 for about 18 months now, and always soak mine in warm/hot 99% ISO.

Zero issues.

  2. Tafeè Bowle OG (twice a day)
  3. OG Mighty 3 or 4 times a day(I have a Mighty+ but OG still works so well.)
  4. Lotus (once a day)
  5. Digital Volcano (3 bags a day)

Once in a while:

  • Flower Kettle with Electropath (once a week)
  • Other collected pieces

Lung health is very important to MY vaping process. Coughing is out of the question for me.

I’ve been through several devices and ended up on the TB2. It’s been my “daily driver” for a year.

My process is simple: .05 gram on setting #2. 3 each 3 second “on demand” hits. Never more. My tolerance stays in check and it gets me way ripped. I follow up with a 10mg gummy and I’m set for the night.

I’m sure this sounds very light to everyone but I consider it a major success to keep my tolerance and lung health in check while still getting plenty stoned.

P.S. I’m 74 and using daily since 1968
